Yalla whats next, tayyar.org ........... (fill in the blanks with the worst suitable word). Some ppl can`t stop being silly and ridiculous and seem to have nothing else to do other than fetching anything to discredit and bash the FPM and its establishments/leaders.

Hooks, criticism has 2 aspects: positive criticism, and negative criticism.

Positive criticism stems from care and interest in the welfare, image and future of the side criticized. I see the current criticism of tayyar.org falls in this category.

So let's not get defensive and work on improving ourselves.

When u have a team of volunteers that works in a tough environment and lacks the tools and sufficient finance, its not fair to keep on criticizing their work.

Secondly, given that the effort invested by the tayyar.org team is tremendous compared to the resources under their disposal, a marginal mistake should be overlooked. Besides, what is being criticized isn`t at all accurate, since tayyar.org supplies various reports from a very wide range of media outlets. Depending on the sort of news reported of the issue of the day most covered, it happens that on some occasions u find the majority of the news reported r cited from a couple of sources. There were many times where the loyalist media was dominant among the articles cited, and no this wasn`t in the far past.

Opening a thread after another just for the sake of it, is not a constructive criticism.
After all we r talking about a "partisan website" that offers a news service, and that competes with the best independent or professional establishments in this industry.

Last but not least dear vego, considering the above, this is called negative criticism.

do you want to see "Aoun is syrian" articles on tayyar.org ?
this is what annahar and albalad do (in addition to the blue liepapers) .

I criticize tayyar.org usually , and i have many notes on different things, but we have to be realistic

Sorry, but this is completely untrue.
tayyar.org publishes many articles from Annahar and Albalad, but mostly from Al Anwar (don't know why ), and all these three are not pro-opposition.

The newspapers that rarely if ever get articles published are the following: Al Al Mustaqbal, Al Liwa2, Al Bayraq, Al Sharq.

Regarding the universities and the syndicates elections tayyar.org is only reporting the good news, for example winnig the faculty of medicine UL branch 4 stayed as headline for more than 5 days but i had to visit other sites to know the result of UL - Faculté de Pédagogie II elections where we lost. Even in LFPM.org the thread concerning the elections in UL sociologie - Rabieh was closed when LF declared their victory to be reopened later on when one of the elected candidates voted for us in the committee elections. Many more examples can be added.
that is the area where tayyar.org's team is not acting objective.
It's pretty easy to get the results of the elections from "Wikalat" or other agencies. The argument that if FPM committee doesn't send teh results to tayyar.org it won't get published doesn't hold much ground IMO. Either get another alternative source when FPM committee doesn't send results or protest to the committee itself and demand to obtain all results whether FPM wins or loses. Ya3ne it seems we're trying to shift the blame from tayyar.org team to FPM committee.

yes it is, especially when u consider that tayyar.org's performance reflects on FPM as a party and FPMers as individuals. It's an official site, credibility and transparency ought to be a must. Mistakes are tolerated once or twice, but not repeatedly.

FPM has an image to maintain.

Hats off to tayyar.org team for their dedication and hard work, but this is besides the point.
By the way, omitting mentioning results whenever FPM loses is not a minor mistake. Publishing Wahhab defamatory comments against the Gemayel Family is not just a minor mistake. Interviewing ppl like Emile Emile Lahoud, Wahhab, etc... is not just a minor mistake.

I somewhat agree. But a little less number of articles from "Al Akhbar" wouldn't hurt.

now u're just judging on intentions. Why are u assuming the thread creator is not having the best intentions in mind, and this his goal is not positive criticism?

I fail to see it. These days, the slightest criticism is being categorized in the "negative criticism" section.

Not all articles on Annahar and Al Balad are Aoun and FPM bashing. There are still some good writers in these newspapers. Tab lets' forget the political articles in these newspapers, why not publish the social/environmental/economic articles of these 2 papers? Both of them excel (compared to some others) in these domains.

today tayyar.org published the detailled results of the engineeing syndicate without mentioning who won "the loyalist or the opposition"
it would look better to say hard luck for the opposition and here are the results ...

that what i'm pointing your attention to. Tayyar.org are obliged to publish clearly the results because it is the most popular website source of news. it is their duty to keep its credebility not for FPM party only but for all its reader and visitor
