as for the appointed Team Leader, please welcome 1989

He is an old member and ex-staff (on lfpm.org), he is now back with a new username (in case you were wondering what was his old username, contact him and ask him and see if he wishes to reveal his old identity).

Back to the candidates, all the candidates will have a chance to post their program on the poll thread so the members can read and vote.

mabrouk 1989 all the best of luck...

I will choose the best between all, unless there isn't anyone who satisfies my political view and has the needed capabilities and potentials to moderate the political forum.

How would you know that?

Don't you want to know on which criterias he will choose those moderators?
I hope you get an answer for that, but I doubt.

Default My program - 2nd April 2008

Hi all
i m member of this forum since 2005 and in FPM since 1998.
Since i joined this forum, i enjoyed the level of discussion and the quality of the threads.
Since i live outside Lebanon, this Forum has become for me a way to feel the beat of the lebanese street, since as u all notice, not all the members are fpmers.
A little briefing about me:
I left Lebanon in 2005 , and with some friends we relunched RPL Toulouse, and the old-new french FPM magazine in Toulouse
Rassemblement Pour le Liban - RPL -

Being an fpmer does not mean being a blind follower, this is y sometimes lot of u find me criticizing FPM...but i dont criticize the principles and the general strategy, but some positions and moves.

My vision for the forum is a follows:
1) the forum is a way to show people a great face of FPM: tolerance.
Lot of people are afraid from politics and political party, but when they c a forum with a high level of discussion and tolerance, they wont for sure join FPM, but they will feel comfortable toward FPM, and we all know that in elections neutrals make difference.
This is why i will try to keep this forum a nice place for discussion where everyone will feel free to give his opinion without violating the freedom and the respect of the others.

2)The forum is a FPM forum but should not be only for fpmers:
FPM broke the virtual obstacles that war created between the lebanese! the forum must keep working in this same vision.
we should not be afraid to ask other members from other parties to come here and explain for us their vision, their view of the situation so that at the end we can come to some common points!

3)A place for idea debates: i will try to make this forum a place for idea debates. Let the debate be on ideas and not around persons. Some subjects like secular Lebanon, federal lebanon, should be discussed and subjected to debate between members.

4)Not just a forum, a forum from tayyar but to all the lebanese:
I will try hard to lunch again Q and A sessions with political figures from all sides!

5)A place to raise the sound of the people:
Many people are suffering from injustice...and nobody hears their voice!!This forum can be a place where these people can talk about that...and we may act either by petitions or by raising their problem in the medias or on tayyar.org

6) More than a forum : We all keep great souvenirs about LFPM.org! it had become more than a forum for many of us!
This is what forum.tayyar.org should become! a place where every member feels as if he s home..a place to make new friends, meet new people, and understand that we may different but we are all lebanese and we share the same problems

7)a place for lebanese unity: this is y i will try if i become political team leader to from a team of moderators from all sides and not only from Fpmers, and to try to define together a certain way of debating without insulting..to show that lebanese can sit and work together

8) a place for information: since all the members cant be political team leaders and moderators, there has to be a new way so that everyone feels he s part of this forum:
i ll try to form several teams called information teams who have the duty of updating the forum whenever there is an urgent or important occasion in Lebanon

9)A place for history: every week, we will try to discuss the history and the principles of a political party..we will ask a member from this party to prepare a brief thread about his party, and we ll try to ask him questions and discuss

10)Newspaper: everyday, there will be a thread concerning the newspapers headlines! this may be an archive in the forum if after 1 or 2 years we cant access the archives of these newspapers.

11)Finally, it is important to increase the number of members..thus it is necessary to have a planto attract members and promote this forum

txs in advance
and i m ready to answer any questions

As i noticed , there are several kinds of Off posts topics:
1)threads that turn to a Aoun Vs Geagea topic
2) threads that turn to bashing between members
3)threads that turn off post but remain rich discussion

the first 2 kinds of off post topics for me wont be tolerated, but for 3rd kind i may act in 2 ways:
1) either open a new thread
2)thank the members for their valuable post but ask them kindly to return to the main topic
