Political Forum Team Leader Elections

As announced in The Orange Room Recruiting Staff Members thread, our Political Forum will have 3 Team Leaders, Team Leaders are like Administrators in their own Forum, they will choose the Moderators, later on replace them if needed, they will organize the work and distribute the tasks between the Moderators and do all the follow ups, they will also have a major saying in the policy of the political Forum.

One of the Team Leaders will be appointed by the Administration, the other one will be elected by the members and they (both of them) will choose the Moderators, they will choose 13 Moderators, the 13 Moderators will go own and elect one of them as Team Leader.

We will announce and introduce the Team Leader appointed by the Administration later on, for now we have to organize the elections.

Sunday midnight is the deadline for all those who wish to nominate themselves. So far we have the following candidates:

- Bejin
- Zouxi
- mehdi soldier

Please note that if you present a plan and introduce yourself, you will have much better chances in the elections.

More candidates are needed.

N.B. All the ones who wish to become Political Moderators, can continue contacting me in private.

I don't know any of the three mentioned above which doesn't give me criteria to elect any of them.

Please tell us more about yourselves and what your plans are. This will decide for me on who i elect.

Just for clarification, i would like to run for the community forums team leader, in the political forum, there are members that were ex-moderators and/or ex-administrators that are by far more privileged than me.

Could you please give us more details about the process of the election... as we care too much about the Transparency during the election.
is it possible to do it as a POLL???

i am "mehdi soldier".i joined this forum in 2005.i have a deep interest in what happens in my country.i am a staunch supporter of change especially in political sense.some might misunderstand me (sometimes) for a sectarianist.quite on the contrary am a capaigner for the oppressed and the unfairly disadvantaged.in reality the sect i belong to happened to be in circumstances of oppresion and unfairly disadvantaged simply based on identity.had i been from another sect or another sect in the place of my own,i would have voiced the same support for that group.i support a united and strong lebanon and lebanon cannot and should never be divided.it must live together as it is with all its diverse sons and daughters.i am a staunch believer in abolishing the confessional system and any other system that is base on discrimination and rascist ideas and intentions.i love participating poilitcally anywhere and for the first time i have nominated myself in the orange room political forum.

now on a more serious note, and besides your political backround, what is your main project to the forum if you become a political team leader?

it is still a bit early.i will after the 12midnight deadline.also,i cant declare my declaration of goals or project until after McCain does,he might copy mine

but we need to know the project of each candidate so we can vote for the TL on objective basis...
