I have been a reader of the orange room till I get control over my acid relfux then I decided to become a member. Having experienced the forum platform discussion on soc.culture.Lebanon site several years back and following the development of tayar.org made this transition smooth. The qualities of discussions on the political section of the orange room are intellectually stimulating. I am still discovering the various sections of the forum and I am impressed and salute the great work of all the admin, technicians and managers of Orange room.
On personal level, I reside in USA-no brainer there! I enjoy various activities from kayaking to writing to biological sciences research (bread and butterJ). Yet with all these privileges I feel my entity is stretched between Lebanon and USA. My soul is in Lebanon and my body wonders in my new shelter and orange room made it a home away from home.

I am Canadian, but Lebanese through marriage :)
We live in Canada with our 2 small children. I have been checking out the Orange Room ever since the 2006 war - it was my main source of information - thank you. My family is amazed that I know more about what is going on in Lebanon than I do in my own country :)
I probably won't post much, but love to read all there is to say.
