It is 1880 days from the start date to the end date
Or 5 years, 1 month, 23 days
number of posts: 824,729
average # of posts/day = 438.6856
then we need 2279.53667 days toreach 1,000,000 posts (roughly) => about 400 days left. w 3eish ya kdeesh |

If u combine the election's thread posts ( metn , beirut1, zahleh ,.....) u would reach a number maybe near 30'000 posts these were only in 2 month almost
july war same thing.... etc....
on a routine basis...it might still take a year.....but in "lebanese action drama" mode it might take less.....
2nd point : when the forum was built...it had a handfull of members....now we are reaching almost 20'000 .....also this is an exponential and not linear equation : more members => the posting rate is increasing..... if each member posted ( theoratically) 5-6 posts today...we would make 100'000 posts in a single DAY !!!!
3rd : if a competion is made to reach the number and incitives given to forumers to post to reach that number , I think this is doable by the ned of 2009 |
It's true we have close to 20,000 members, but there are many variables that throw a monkey wrench into the number of members actually doing any real posting... For example, how many members are banned? How many members have duplicate accounts (like what happened in the recent elections)? How many members haven't even showed up the last few months? Where are the original members from LFPM.org hiding such as Sayyan Benghazi and Comrade Bassam? From what I can determine, there are barely 100 or 200 members max that are active while the vast majority are not.
Even with the active members, there are folks who put in one or two posts every couple of days then disappear (like me for example), then you have folks who have at least 15 to 20 posts a day.
I would say, just relax, focus on the journey to 1,000,000 and not the destination.
