But I have to Open This Discussion Again,

Please if There is Somebody from OTV On Board,

Read this!

Save OTV.

Since MTV Opened and OTV is showing weaker day after day.

We need Experienced people to make this TV Work and to Deliver Our Point of View.

Programs Grid:


When OTV Started the Pure Lebanese Grid was awesome, everybody felt coming back to the Lebanese shows and Series.

Get Back to such Programs, Locally produced and made,
Running such Programs will attract the Diaspora community to watch OTV and get a link with it, which leads eventually of making it a part of their life and delivering our message to the people living abroad.

Invest More in some good programs,
OTV is not investing well in TV shows,
People You should Pay Money to get Some High Quality series and Shows.
The Production of the shows at OTV is Poor, we are looking like Tele Liban in the 1950's


Give Color to the Screen,

If you watch other TVs u feel life, No life in the OTV Screen,
if the Equipment Old, Change it!!!!
We invested to get a TV that is able to beat Other TV's

Make PanArab Shows With Lebanese Spirit,
Arabs Likes acting like Lebanese, they like their shows, their life style,
This Could Bring huge income to the Station in term of ads and SMS.


News and Politics



Remove the Intro,
I know the intro is very important for The FPMers,
But at this stage we are more concerned with neutrals, and Lebanese from all sects.

Stop the Christian Speech Stuff,
It is hurting more than it is bringing benefits,
3a rasse Protecting the Christians rights, but we went to far into this, now we are in a weak position of this.

make the News More Rich,
bring more documentaries to the news, keep in touch with the people.
Let the news be a spot, make ppl wait it.

Bring Media Professional Personnel to put OTV on the Right Track,
I repeat Once Again, Invest more in the TV.
We need people that are specialist in media domain for our News/Political Speech, if we have to bring some western people to make our speech reach the audience let it be.
because we are failing big time in this.

At The End if Current Administration is not Able to do This, Than It Should be Replaced.

I think they are aware of the technical difficulties.
Programs wise, OTV is still far behind, even TL is way ahead.
Unfortunelty the only 2 reasonable solution are Resources & Time, we have to wait some more to see significant improvements. You might think why the god awful programs allowed to go on air but i highly doubt they have a good amount of altrenatives.
Just remember that OTV is a business and it's being treated as the FPM TV station directed only to FPMers and that makes it difficult for a business to survive because Companies that want to pay for their Ads would rather have them show on TV stations seen by the majority of the Lebanese people and till now OTV is being treated as a business intruder, other TV stations have enough funds to survive this Lebanese mentality, OTV is still lean.

In Media Domain if just Stay at the Same place you will going backward.

It is not enough to rely on the FPM audience, and live in Dreams.
We want to make a respected Station we should work for it and get the Right People, even if we have to make some agreements and minimize our authority in the station.

Eno we have dreaming of this station for more than 20 years, and now we are just stuck at a low level one similar to NBN this is really sad :(:(:(

and add to that Roy el hachem should be removed! chou hal 2idara hayde? u need someone who is right for this job! mech min maken min jibo w min 7oto!!!! Just look at MTV,NTV... l 2idara is different!!! Don't tell me it's all about the money!!! and removing Charbel Khalil was the biggest mistake!!

MTV > OTV by far.

the money is an issue but there are lots of changes that can be done that won't cost much. frankly I was a big fan, and still am , but in Ramadan it's such a disappointment. It's just not getting any better.

I think some major changes must happen in OTV... men Roy El Hachem w jerr...
Let everything be based on meritocracy w bass...

Change and Reform should start from OTV, we all hoped and wished that OTV would be the station we dreamed of, an "un-biased" media, the People's TV.. but all what we see is "Istakbala wa wadda3a", and 80% of them consider FPM and pro-FPM personalities... add to it a TeleLiban-style programs grid... what a shame!

If you want to open a TV station, let it be a good one, let it be one that can stand in the face of other competitors. let it be one that attracts all lebanese, children, youth and old... let it be a one that promotes culture everywhere, let it be one that reflects the true image of the Lebanon: culture, education, science, social life, sports, youth etc etc... A TV station is far from being only for political issues, and only for the daily news and political talk-shows! A TV station with dr. Rami Herbs having the air everyday talking ******** and nonsense is not a decent TV station that respects itself and its viewers!

If MTV was able to do what it did and to attract this huge part of the spectators, I don't see why is OTV unable to do better!! they don't lack of anything!

Just look at that! Why couldn't OTV produce a program like Wanted on MTV!? What does it cost? The highlights are that ثلاثين ليله و ليله which is really bad and is being repeated 3 times per day! Can you imagine!

And the second highlight is شو بتتوقع؟. Mike Feghaly and the people behind him are a disgrace to the human intelligence! No matter how simple minded one can get, they should not accept such cra*! The Gebran Khalil Gebran series is nice, but it's a repeat..

I really can't see what's preventing OTV from being like LBC, NTV or MTV.. I don't think money is an issue here. Creativity and management are! Just look at MTV, a 5-month old TV station with lot of better programs and unique shows.

Politics-wise, OTV is a clone to Future, Manar and NBN: stations that are directed to a specific audience, unlike NTV and LBC. For example, just compare the news intro or the news bar at the bottom of your screen and read yourself!
