Religious Program on OTV

Did anybody hear that there's a religious program on OTV concerning Ramadan? I think not, coz nobody made a big fuss out of it! Why?

إنها التجربة الرمضانية الأولى التي تخوضها المحطة البرتقالية في شهر رمضان الحالي، بعد ان كان بثها تجريبيا في الموسم الماضي. لذلك، قررت المحطة ان تظهر على الساحة الرمضانية »بنوعية عالية بغض النظر عن الكمية«، كما يقول مدير البرامج باتريك باسيل في حديثه لـ»السفير«. وما يقصده باسيل هنا، هو أن المحطة لن تدخل في منافسة محطات محلية وعربية لشراء الانتاجات الدرامية، بل »ستكتفي بإنتاجاتها الخاصة التي نعتبرها مميزة عن غيرها«. فبرأي باسيل »برامجنا »زغتورة« لكنها مميزة من حيث الإعداد«. وحول غياب الدراما عن شاشة المحطة، يرى باسيل أنه لم يقع الاختيار على المسلسلات المصرية أو السورية لسبب بسيط: »نحنا شوي شوي عمنطّور.. وهلق مش قد المنافسة«. يلفت باسيل الى ان المحطة اختارت »الكوميديا« كعنوان لشبكتها الرمضانية، وستعتمد على برنامجين فكاهيين، يتوقع باسيل ان يستقطبا جمهورا كبيرا.
تحتل شخصية »تاتا روزانا« التي يقدمها رئيف الحاج موقعاً مميزاً في رمضان من خلال البرنامج الكوميدي »فيري فيري فيري شطورة«. وتستقبل »تاتا روزانا« ضيفاً معها في المطبخ حيث يحضران يومياً أطباقا من المأكولات اللذيذة بإشراف »الشيف«. »مقلب مرتب« هو البرنامج الكوميدي الثاني التي تعرضه المحطة بعد نشرة الاخبار المسائية. يتوقف باسيل عند هذا البرنامج، مشددا على أهميته من حيث المضمون، شارحا انه سيتم تحضير مقالب مع سياسيين وفنانين، بعد أن يدّعي مقدم البرنامج (الذي رفض باسيل الإفصاح عن اسمه قبل العرض) أنه يريد إجراء مقابلة مع الشخصية المستضافة، ويحصل »الضرب« بعدها. ويتوقع باسيل ان يستمر هذا البرنامج بعد الشهر الكريم، لكن بشكل أسبوعي. واللافت أن القناة تخصص برنامجاً دينياً على شاشاتها من وحي المناسبة الرمضانية بعنوان »أنوار رمضان«. وحين سألنا باسيل مضمونه والغاية منه أجاب: »نودّ تعريف المسيحيين بشكل خاص على أجواء رمضان ومعنى الصيام عند المسلمين، كذلك نريد تأمين محطة خاصة للمسلمين في الشهر الكريم على شاشتنا«. ومن الطابع الديني، ينتقل باسيل الى الأجواء الاجتماعية وتحديداً مسلسل »الحياة أقوى« الذي صوّرت حلقاته بالكامل، والذي يعتبره باسيل »أقوى البرامج لدينا منذ أن أبصرنا النور«. وهو يعرض حالات إنسانية خاصة تمت معالجتها من خلال تبرعات قدمتها المستشفيات والجمعيات الخيرية وعدد من المتبرعين. أما عما يميّز البرنامج عن غيره مما يعرض حالياً على الشاشات، فيقول باسيل »ستنتهي كل حلقة بنهاية سعيدة تغيّر حياة صاحب الحالة المعروضة«.
وضمن أجواء التسلية، اختارت المحطة برنامج ألعاب تقدمه الزميلة ستيفاني فيصل مباشرة على الهواء. كذلك تقدم المحطة برنامج »ريفلكس« وسيكون »حساسا في طرحه مواضيع ساخنة، ويتولى اختصاصي معالجتها مع المشاهدين على الهواء، ولن تستثني الحلقات مواضيع جنسية ونفسية« بحسب باسيل. لكن ألا يتعارض المضمون هذا مع طبيعة البرامج الرمضانية؟ يجيب باسيل: »هناك ضرورة لمعالجة بعض الأمور التي لا يسلط الضوء عليها«.
وحول مصير البرامج السياسية التي تعرض حاليا على شاشة المحطة، يؤكد باسيل ان البرامج »صامدة« وأن القناة »لم تشترِ دراما كي لا تؤثر سلباً على توقيت عرض برامجنا التي نعتبرها نجحت بقوة«. وكما شذّت عن غيرها من القنوات لجهة عدم شراء برامج درامية وإبقاء برامجها السياسية، يبدو ان تأخير إطلاق الحملة الاعلانية عن شبكة رمضان (ستبدأ غدا) جاء مدروساً، وذلك لأن »كثرة الدعاية تقتل الدعاية« دائماً بحسب باسيل.

Honestly,i can't stand it anymore.

Enno i can understand a TV like Manar which is a self-proclaimed religious/resistance TV.

I therefore only watch the news,and eventually some political programs on it,depending on the guests.

But lately,each time that i switch on OTV...It's all about religious symbolism,religious programs,interview with religious figures...Dam n ...I have the impression that i'm watching Tele Lumiere at some point.

I hate religion and religious militantism and preaching on TV,but i can understand a little of it,at some point.

But not that much!Too much to my taste...Mesh 7elweh El Moubelagha.

So just like Manar,I'm just skipping it.It's not entertaining,not enough fresh,not enough modern,not enough young.

I opened this thread to talk about excessive religious appearances and symbolism on OTV,instead of modern fresh,young programs.

And it has been merged with this thread,which only common thing it shares with, is the word "religious"

Since christians celebrate it twice, the jins 3atil once and the others a week after that, OTV had to broadcast
religious programs to cover both feasts. Remember that its a commercial company after all, so it is obliged to consider
the interests of its viewers at different periods throughout the season. I recall that it had a religious program everyday during last ramadan and
it was quite interesting. I havent been watching TV lately, but if OTV is still broadcasting religious programs at the same
rate as easter time then it should definitely delimit such programs, and freemind, could you please do everyone a favor and
go F*ck yourself? thank you..

I suggest one opens a thread for FPM's allies to file any complaints against FPM's behavior, let it be in a form of lessons to improve FPM's acts, be it an educative initiative from the part of the loving allies to enlighten some FPM supporters.

This way Abou Sandal would sleep well at night, having infested FPM to the max leaving it as a rotten bacterified staunchly fermented peice of metaphor.

A sticky thread would be preferable.

I usually like to watch religious programs on such occasions like Easter or Ramadan.It can be interesting and spiritually refreshing.

But what i'm complaining of,goes to a little earlier than that,not to mention that even in period of religious feasts,one can still present programs in a much lighter way.

I mean...Lately...Whenever I switch on OTV...There is something related to religion on it.It's too much imposing at this level.

Otv should maybe cool it down a little.It wasn't supposed and promised to be like that.

I'm afraid that someone in the administration is mixing up things altogether.

Mixing up between politics and entertainment,and not differentiating between FPM being "Representative of the majority of Christian voters" ,and OTV being "Representative of Christianity in Lebanon".

I hope that i'm wrong,but if i'm not,then OTV will not make it for long.Especially with a strong competition like LBC and now,the MTV which is a very appealing audiovisual interface.(Although sucks politically)
