OTV are broadcasting 2 sports program, I think that it is not enough "O Sport" and "DW Bundesliga".
OTV must broadcast the:

- Lebanese basketball, football, volley;
- champions league;
- F1 …

Well i hope that day OTV starts broadcasting the lebanese basketball leagues,or the volleyball one.
Also the Futsal league will start soon,so maybe it will be a great step to get the rights to broadcast it.

Those are big contracts. I'm not sure if the station is currently planning on buying the extremely expensive broadcasting rights of the Champions League of the F1 Championship.

Yes they should but tawlo belkoun shouey! Remember that OTV is financed by the people so getting enough money to buy such huge programs is tough and will happen with time.

I hope they will never buy Champion's league and F1 rights. Sorry but this is unuseful and those "sports" are broadcasted by lots of other international TVs. Knowing that OTV is a Satellite channel, it would be a big "strategical" error.

However, what should be interesting to broadcast are:
- The Lebanese Rugby League championship (or at least the final) and the matches of the National team (Cedars and Espoir)
- The world cup 2008 of Rugby League which should not be expensive (Lebanon has always a small chance to participate if Fiji is rejected by Australia)
- The Olympic Game events only where Lebanese are participating
- The A1 GP races (Team Lebanon is participating since 3 years)

If they can broadcast some national championships (volley-ball, handbal, football, futsal,etc...), it would be nice but it's preferrable first to broadcast summaries of the matches and then (next season) broadcast complete matches, so that people have an idea of the sport before watching it.

this will be for the benefit of Otv and Lebanese Sports, but they should broadcast some international events also like one of the european football leagues or NBA like Mtv used to do NBA action and match of the week

volleyball was the nbre one sport in lebanon
Futsal is a good idea and shouldnt cost a lot of money
in addition they should remove the DW program and put another one that resumes all the european leagues like the english premier league and the seria A and ...................

Broadcasting F1 and champions league? Come on guys :) very ambitious but imposible, do u have an idea what a contract for such competitions r worth? For sure more than what Otv’s worth x 20, but what is needed is a good sports program that covers the premier league and an other that covers all the auto races, actually I’m surprised that we still don’t have such a sports program.

I think "Osport" every monday is a chef-d'oeuvre. They are relaying all kinds of informations about lebanese sport's tournaments... this is a good first step (knowing no other lebanese channel did this first step before). Every week, we find even more and more reportages about sport's events in Lebanon.

And with all the programs and debates on each sport everytime, we could make a good idea of the situation of each sport in Lebanon (volley, football, boxe, cycling+mountainbike, ping-pong, ski, bodybulding, athletics, gymnastic).

If someone can record them, it would be very interesting to post the videos on youtube

the program is good and interesting but Otv must have an other program on monday night, by this all the european leagues will have been played on sat and sun plus F1 is there was a race
