i as an fpm-er see that ad as the worst thing appeared on otv till now ...
I mean everyday we see aoun,gebran,aoun,gebran,aoun,gebran,jezzin mp's,aoun,gebran,aoun,aoun,kanaan,aoun,etc.... otv is using a lot of political ads which is dangerous you know ,... it's a wrong way of propaganda ..
Plus George Yasmin and Jean aziz are the worst ppl to run newsbroadcasting .. they are very unprofessional ,very sectarian ,and very very very biased ..

*Dima Sadek is the best thing on OTV ! I think that she's one of the best anchors and interviewers ..she is very unbiased and asks gd questions unlike the other 2 ..Rawad is mediocre ,but at least better than George

*ghanni ma3 ghassan is the hit show ! Bravo Ghassan !

OTV needs more youth shows like about vehicles,cinema,sports,entertainment,sit coms,etc... and as armenian said they should update the decor.

there is something i dont understand
the clip about the 2 years aniversary, it is for OTV, right ?
So why is the whole clip about the "checkmark" ? isnt this an FPM thing ?
Why are they going that far to connect otv to fpm when it was supposed to be a "somewhat" independant/unbiased TV
What am i missing ?

When Sharbel Khalil refused to be a part of OTV ,it appeared that there's something wrong with the otv direction .
Isn't there anybody in this room who can send our comments and criticizism about otv to its direction ?!!
After all if our voice is unheard u won't have any audience !

I don't want to justify it, actually I am against going so far in the relation OTV/FPM... But this checkmark is also showing/representing the number 2, because OTV is 2 years old.

الكلمة التي ألقاها العماد ميشال عون في الجمعية العمومية لتلفزيون أو تي في بمناسبة العام الثاني على إطلاق المحطة.

استهل العماد عون كلمته بالإشارة الى حديث الأستاذ جان عزيز عن "الحقيقة"، وقال "الحقيقة" تعذّب كثيراً من يحملها، وقد سبق لي أن قلت "إنّ من يقول الحقيقة في آنيّتها، يدفع في أغلب الأحيان حياته ثمناً لها، بينما المؤرّخ ينشرها فيما بعد، ويعيش من ريع نشرها،" الأول يدفع حياته ثمناً لها بينما الثاني يعيش من ريع نشرها. الحقيقة صعبة، حملها صعب، وقولها صعب، وتعرّض الإنسان دائماً للخطر، لأنّها تجرح بطبيعتها، وأضاف: من يمكن أن تجرحه الحقيقة؟ النافذ الذي يحاول دائماً تجاوزها... لنسمِّ بالوظيفة وليس بالأشخاص، يتجاوزها رئيس جمهورية، يتجاوزها رئيس حكومة، يتجاوزها نائب عام، يتجاوزها رئيس محكمة، يتجاوزها تاجر نافذ، رئيس مافيا ممّن يقتلون من أجل المال، هؤلاء هم من يتجاوزنها وليس الضعفاء.

وأشار الى القول الشهير ل "بالزاك" عن القانون: "إنّ القانون شبكة عنكبوت يخترقها الذباب الكبير ويعلق فيها الذباب الصغير"، وأضاف :كما قلت لكم، قول الحقيقة صعب وإنّنا نعاني منها، فلدي حوالى العشرين دعوى ضدّ الإعلام من سباب، شتائم، كذب، تجني، قدح وذم، تشهير...، ومنذ سبع سنوات حتى اليوم، لم يتم استدعاء من رفعنا شكاوى بحقّهم، بينما آخر صحافي، مشهودة له عمالته، تكلّمت عنه الـ"Otv"، وفي اليوم التالي تمّ استدعاء رئيس مجلس إدارتها ومدير الأخبار فيها... فإن كانت الشكوى ضدّ الـ"Otv" تبدأ التحقيقات في اليوم التالي، لماذا؟ لأنّها تقول الحقيقة ولأنها تمسّ أناساً يعتبرون أنفسهم كباراً، ولكن طبعاً على مستوى القيم الإنسانية فهم من أدنى الناس، أمّا على مستوى القيم المزيّفة أي السلطة والمال، فهم قادرون، ولكن لن نخشاهم.
جميعكم اليوم قادمين من فئة جنود جدعون الذين تكلّمت عنهم، يعرفون ماذا كلّفتنا المعركة وكيف وقفنا في وجهها، وفي وجه العالم بأسره، لأنّنا نحمل "الحقيقة"، و"الحقيقة" كما قلت، قد تكون تكلفتها باهظة ولكنّها تنتهي بالإنتصار.

في إحدى الإجتماعات مع عائلة "نشرة الأخبار" في الـ"Otv"، كانوا جدّ واقعيين، وهناك أشياء لم تعجبني في هذه الواقعية، فعندما يصرّح أحدهم كذباً يتمّ نقل تصريحه تحت ستار الواقعية، فقلت لهم "لا، فالواقعية هي نقل الحقيقة"، فأجابوا بأنّه "يتمّ اتّهامنا عندها بالتحيّز"، فقلت: "فليكن"، إذ يجب على المرء أن يتحيّز للحقيقة، لأنّه في كثيرٍ من الأحيان أسمعهم يقولون أنّ الـ"Otv" أصبحت متحيّزة، ولكن اقرؤوا مقدّمتها، إذ باتت مضطرّةً لصياغتها بهذه الطريقة لتدافع عن "الحقيقة"، أمّا إذا أردنا أن ندوس على "الحقيقة" ونمشي، فلا نقول أيّ كلمة ونصفّق الى جانب الذين يصفّقون، ونخترع نحن كذبةً شبيهةً لكذبهم، ولكنّنا مضطرّون ان ندافع، لأنّه ما من أحد يدافع عن "الحقيقة"، فكلٌّ يدافع عن رغبته الخاصّة، ونحن نتحدّى كلّ من يقول أنّ مقدّمة الـ"Otv" منحازة، نتحدّاهم أن يُظهروا كلّ كلمة، تُقال في المقدّمة أو في محيطها، ولا تكون صحيحةً، ولا أعرف ما إذا بات الناس أيضا،ً يخافون سماع الـ"Otv"، لأنّهم هاربون من حقيقتهم، لأنّ "الحقيقة" ليست سليمة في هذه الأيّام، فعندما نريد أن نسمع "الحقيقة" علينا تحمّل مسؤوليّتها، فنراهم يقولون "لشو بدنا نسمع هالمسؤولية هيدي، خبّرونا خبريّة تانية"، وهذا يسميه علماء النفس، "الهروب من الحقيقة"، فباتوا يلجؤون لمواضيع أخرى. فاليوم قد لا يهتمّ الشعب بمعرفة حقيقته، إذ عندما ينجح جمهور الفساد على جمهور الإصلاح، فهذه مؤشّرات صعبة، وتجعل مهمّتنا أصعب ممّا هي عادةً.

أشياء كثيرة قد تُقال في هذه المناسبة، وأنا أشكر المساهمين بهذه "الورشة الشعبية" كما أسمّيها أي الـ"Otv"، لأنّها "ورشة شعب" و"مشروع شعب"، وقد تكون المؤسّسة الوحيدة المخصخصة بطبيعتها، وقد قلت مخصخصة لأنّها ملكٌ للجميع، ولا أحد يتفرّد بامتلاكها.
