Well best thing is to watch movies, and check site or forums to know news. truth = (a*M14+b*M8), where a+b=1. Well a = 0.9 for me.

i dont think otv is close to making any profit
you can invest now, just think of it as a donnation to FPM

on the bias side, the IR will tell you that OTV was designed to be at the same distance from all libaneese parties

no other tv station in lebanon comes close to OTV bias, not even FTV

I mean, OTV had Gebran, GMA, and GMA three times in a row in its main (weekly) primetime political program

no other station came close

and now, they are getting into trash stuff (à la National Enquirer)

Yes, and your observation is based on the fact that FTV invites all members of the opposition in their primetime debates? Or when FTV presents a balanced political story? Or is it when FTV sanctifies all major political leaders who were assassinated?

To start with, OTV already has some excellent programs, Ovrira is by far the best comic show in Lebanon! 3ashra ba3d el nashra is also great, but it's a totally different thing, and that was the intelligent thing they did (seperation between sketches and immitations, unlike the rest of the shows in Lebanon).

Ghanni ma3 Ghassan is also a great show, an innovation!

5od 5baroon men neswenoon is a stupid show, but it does attract some people...

I've never watched reflex, but I've been told it's a good program.

Maguy Farah's show is fine, I honestly prefer her to Marcel Ghanem or Georges Salibi, although my favorite remains Said el Ghorayeb, and the reason she can't get many loyalists on her show is not from her, it's because most of the loyalists boycott the TV...

As for the news, the only reason I watch it is to see Dima , OTV's news is tooo biased!! Shi w menno wlo!! They should be a lot more moderate, a bit like NewTv!

Oh and by the way, Shirley el Murr is an other version of May Chidiac

Oh, and about making a show similar to the Daily Show or the Colbert Report, I believe Ghassan el Rahbani is the man for the job! And for the person who said it was Charbel Khalil, are you serious??? Charbel Khalil was never really bright, he just looked better compared to the others in Lebanon, but now he's getting worst and worst, nobody watches Basmet el Watan anymore! and Doumakratiya is awfull!

first -as it has been said a thousand times in this thread, OTV is too biased,
and comparing it to FTV is no excuse, because i don't care if FTV is biased i want independent people to watch OTV and not FTV.
second -i think the most important thing for OTV, is to make a decent profit, because if it doesn't, even in 10 years it won't be better.
