OTV is not being used to its potential, and it is pissing me off. OTV should start something like the daily show, pending they find a presenter like Jon Stewart; it doesn't need to start with a live audience. these shows are entertaining, cheap, make strong political points, grab audiences, and they are easy to produce, as an investor in OTV, i want to see it succeed. this could be what OTV needs to break through from the pure orange audience to the wider Lebanese audience. it is not acceptable to turn OTV into another TL. come on guys. OTV looks like a relic from the past. Each time i switch to it, I'm afraid to see Abou Melhem talking about daily politics on it. They're almost close...They just need to take off the colors from the screen...lol. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Abou Sandal For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

Guys u being too harsh on Otv. Some high quality programs would be great, but don`t forget that Otv with the very humble budget is producing and airing very good and attractive programs for all ages. Honestly, i don`t enjoy any other tv ma3 ino sometimes certain Otv programs get on my nerves. Otv is moving slowly but steadily towards a stable climax of success and diversity (program wise). | | | | | Registered Member

they had two interviews a month ago with this weirdo who kept on attacking
sunna and calling them jalab. Im disgusted by OTV's performance in all aspects.
its doing nothing but giving FPM a bad image and I seriously cant watch it anymore, but
who cares really, none of the valuable threads and posts here are reaching FPM's leadership or OTV. | | | | | The Following 8 Users Say Thank You to SamerTayyar For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

From the morning show, down to 3ashra ba3d l nashra, to Maguy Farah, to the Monday show, to Ghassan Rahbani...OTV is sure getting attention.
The news broadcast is very biased though, the long introduction along with the stupid facial expressions of the news anchor when it comes to a peice of news related to Geagea or Hariri, really reminds you that you live in a third world arab country.
Non of the other Lebanese channels is any better though.
Orange TV in general has done more than good compared to its rival channels.
People criticizing much, are looking very abusive in my opinion, whether OTV is doin good or bad has become a matter of point of view! | | | | | Registered Member

OTV is improving but in slow motion, I don't think people managing otv have a problem with ideas as much as it's all a budget problem, it shows in the way studios are designed, programs wise i suggest otv follows the footsteps of MTV, they don't have to buy imported shows just make a decent studio and start of with hosting tech/music shows. | | | | | Registered Member

TAKE IT EASY ON OTV...
it's a tv station broadcasting from a building of 3 floors
otv is 2 years old (almost) and competing...
I wonder how it'll become in few more years. | | | | | | |
