TV stations in Lebanon follow the same dull immature formula in its programs. What a joke.

The same young audience is listening to racist and discriminative statements from politicians every day; some of these statements encourage a new civil war and the division between Lebanese; what do you think is more dangerous?
As far as I know, sex jokes never initiated a war or an economic crisis.
I think this is a fashet 5ili2 in these dark days.

I think this show is playing on a very dangerous ground for 2 main reasons:

1. I'm a conservative person like many in Lebanon; I feel very concerned with the propagation of the "modern art" in Lebanon - I mean by modern art all the "hechek bechek" artists that we see on TV and in video clips and in Al-JAras and Star Academy- this is not the society I would like to see in Lebanon and this is not the environment I would like my children to grow up in. Society in Lebanon is in its decadence phase, and unfortunately this is what comes out from LOL...

2. It is very hard to make people laugh everytime; I really think the show should evolve into something more attractive otherwise people will definitely get bored.

That poor audience had to literally applaud at every joke
A poor concept..Why not grab a book of jokes at the Virgin Megastore and read it while we're at it!

Why don't you just bring a gun and force every person in Lebanon to watch it ? Because it seems you don't think anyone can naturally hate or oppose such a show.

Having a pre-existing sectarian, racist, and discriminative speech should not justify introducing another wrong one!

I am not against sex jokes. On the contrary, I greatly enjoyed them and and they were quite funny. But enjoying them at the personal level does not give me the freedom to approve that they be broadcasted on national television and in the presence of a very young audience.

Sex jokes may not incite a civil or economic crisis as you said, but they sure do provoke a debate over moral values and the limits on freedom of speech in a society that still prides itself with family values and principles.

Bottomline, it is not what you say, it is the setting and context in which you say them

Regards

now do u think that a -10-11-12 year old kid will go to bed at 8 or 9! lek wen ba3dik 2abel l 1:00 ma bi nemo!!! We should at least respect the parents that are watching. The show should be PG13 and the jokes will get boring week after week so the idea is not for the long term!! I'm not saying the show is bad but is not as good as I thought!

MTV for a reason is getting my attention, can't OTV come up with good ideas???
