Edgar Maalouf (né en 1934) est une personnalité politique libanaise et ancien général de l'Armée.

Sa carrière de haut-officier, proche du général Michel Aoun, le mène en 1988 à être nommé ministre au sein du gouvernement intérimaire dirigé par Aoun, à la fin du mandat du Président Amine Gemayel. Edgar Maalouf occupe alors plusieurs ministères (les Finances, l'Industrie et le Pétrole, le Tourisme, la Santé publique et les Affaires sociales, le Travail et les Travaux publics).

Suite à la défaite militaire du général Aoun le 13 octobre 1990, Edgar Maalouf se retrouve exilé en France. Il y restera jusqu'au 7 mai 2005, après le retrait syrien du Liban, accompagnant une nouvelle fois Michel Aoun.

Il est élu un mois plus tard député grec-orthodoxe du Metn, représentant le Courant patriotique libre, au sein du Bloc de la réforme et du changement.

Nabil Nicolas (né à Antélias en 1950) est un homme politique libanais.

Dentiste diplômé en France, il est proche du général Michel Aoun. Il quitte le Liban en 1990 et y retourne définitivement en 2005. Lors de son séjour en France, il coordonne de manière clandestine la diffusion des messages politiques de Michel Aoun, alors en exil.

Inconnu sur la scène politique locale, Michel Aoun le choisit pour être candidat du Courant Patriotique Libre au Metn, lors des élections de 2005. Il gagne les élections, devançant plusieurs personnalités phares de la région, parmi lesquelles l'ancien ministre Pierre Amine Gemayel et le président du Mouvement du Renouveau Démocratique Nassib Lahoud.

Nabil Nicolas fait aujourd'hui partie des "faucons" du Bloc de la réforme et du changement, dans l'opposition au gouvernement de Fouad Siniora.

Elias Skaff

né à Zahlé en 1948, est un homme politique libanais.

Descendant d’une longue lignée politique, il fait des études d’agronomie.

Il est élu député grec-catholique de Zahlé depuis 1992, à la tête du Bloc Populaire. Entre 1993 et 2000, il préside la commission parlementaire de l’Agriculture, l’Environnement et le Tourisme et entre 2000 et 2001 la commission parlementaire de l’Économie, du Commerce et de l’Industrie.

En 2001, il rejoint pendant quelques mois le rassemblement de Kornet Chehwane, mais le quitte rapidement pour se rapprocher à nouveau des forces prosyriennes. En 2003, il devient ministre de l’Industrie au sein du gouvernement de Rafiq Hariri et en 2004, ministre de l’Agriculture dans le gouvernement de Omar Karamé.

Ses négociations pour une éventuelle alliance avec les forces de l'Alliance du 14 Mars lors des élections de 2005 échouent. Il se tourne alors vers le Courant Patriotique Libre du général Michel Aoun, avec lequel il mène une liste d’alliance à Zahlé. Cette liste remporte des élections très serrées et parvient à faire élire 6 candidats parmi les 7 qui la composaient. Il préside aujourd’hui le Bloc Populaire, au sein du Bloc de la réforme et du changement dirigé par Michel Aoun.
