Hi,

International experience is nice. If you receive a way better offer, go for it. But if the offers are nearly similar (put in consideration factors other than salary), stay in Lebanon. Remember, there is a price for being away from those you love. So you must justify to yourself why you will decide to work abroad.
Again, it is nice and may be the best time to try it. Later on, you will start about your personal plans and marriage...

Cheers.

I would strongly recommend that you work for a while outside of Lebanon, preferably in Europe or North America if you can.

Good luck, and Congratulations

This may sound cheesy, but living abroad is a good experience. It helps you mature in many dimensions. Working abroad is also a good experience. Also note that some experience can be better than other; if opportunity permits, Europe or North America can give you exposure to a lot more than the Gulf states or other Arab countries.

What field are you in King?

I can tell you one thing. Working abroad has not only taught me more than any experience in Lebanon, it also drains the heck out of your juices: They literally force you to put all your energy into your work and this my friend, IF you decide to come back to Lebanon, will get you stronger and more productive than ever.

It is sad to leave. To leave your family, your friends, home...I honestly envy my local co-workers for having such a balanced life because they've lived here, their families are here and you feel snapped from your roots..

Bottom line is: it's a race against time..How much time do you need to get back to your loved ones? How much time to spend abroad before Lebanon gets back on its feet? I am going back soon for a week. It's been around a year since I haven't seen my family..is my career doing great? yes. Is it hard being away? yes.

So back to your question: would I suggest working abroad? Yesterday I would've said yes. Tonight I might tend to say no. It's a close call and I'm feeling a bit emotional tonight haha but reason..reason will tend to say yes. Because tomorrow might be too late for your career and you are sole responsible for the outcome of your future career (and/or children)..

Hope this helps and good luck..

Cheers!

Once you start working abroad, you wouldn't even consider returning to Lebanon. It's not about the salary you would gain as much as it is about financial security and peace of mind which are priceless.

King Ramy I graduated 1 year Ago,

I started working in Lebanon directly after graduation for about 9 months,

It has been 2 months almost since i Left Lebanon to Africa,
Here in 3rd world nations u wont feel the difference with lebanon, ull find lebanon as Heaven.
The Experience is good, ull get experience, but in terms of business, the experience u get in here is different than the outside world.

Ull get experience with yelling getting angry, repeating ur job thousands of time, dealing with nonchalance people, dealing with chaos,

At the End u will finish up as a multitask person able to handle a company,

But in real life this is not what is wanted, the world is going into specialization.

If you are looking to leave Lebanon try to go to Europe, even though you will not get rich fast or ur income wont be that high, but at least ull get a great experience + social security and at least dealing with civilized people.
