I heard/read a lot of good stuff (such as excellent salaries, fringe benefits, allowances, generous vacation days) about working in Dubai. Is this reality or blowing a picture out of proportion?
I also heard/read that recruiters (paid ones) might take you on a wild ride, pocket your money and leave you empty handed. Is this reality or blowing a picture out of proportion? What is the best way in searching for a job? Recruiters? Internet? Direct contact? I heard networking is the best way to go…
What about if you are married? Is there “discrimination” against married people with a kid or two? What about your spouse? Can she get a decent job with a Bachelor degree? Are there day care services for kids? if so, are they expensive?
Is there any field that this more valued then others…Banking Vs Finance Vs Accounting Vs Science Vs Engineering Vs Computer science….
Is employment "at will" or based on a contract? If so, how long does a “usual” contract lasts?
