danny i got ur point . its a gd one ma 7ada bi 2oul la2 eno experience is different from what u have learned today. but

1) the papers today are something very powerful that will help u to reach places in ur future work. ye3ne a BE in EE isnt paid or doesnt get the same job as a Masters in EE.
2) if u want to be special and unique with ur formation u have to do something special or at least something close to special .
(for example : i did a double school program and i used to stay from 8 am to 6 pm everyday beside friday and saturday i would go only from 2:30 pm . i know that was a big tiring education but i find the difference right now between my classmates @ the university. )

i agree with u . what is really important is the experience BUT in order to get to some places and get some GOOD experience u got to have the right degrees in ur pocket

In engineering, a masters could be useful if you wish to make a transition for something else then what you have studied. In other cases, masters being done without experience is not viable in engineering. You would get refused for being overqualified. Trust me on this one, I've seen many of these cases here in Canada. Get your masters once you've started working as it could be a nice bargain chip for promotion or salary increase. Else, the best asset for an engineer is a minor in management, usualy around 30 credits. Of course, later on, you could pursue your MBA.

Ubisoft is a company and not a university. The certificate they give you is a graduate certificate, which means you are supposed to have an undergraduate degree before you can enroll, but it's far from being called a Master's degree.

Talking salary, Ubisoft is one of the lowest paying employers in Montreal in IT. It's unreal that a fresh grad software engineer who has to follow their graduate certificate program ends up getting less than 50K CAD a year. I don't even understand why people even apply there.

thats exactly what i m gona do u were reading my mind. as i said previously in the topic i want to get a masters in engineering then while working i want to pursue a degree in buisness . i think it is very useful and opens wider fields for the engineers to work in different departments
