Remembering your first job,

Be it part-time, full-time, something you did while studying or post-graduation.. what were your expectations before starting and how did you manage the experience..

Customer Service Rep. in Blom Bank during my Junior year at AUB. It was a summer internship.

Good experience, got to meet new people, didn't affect / help my career track though.

Drug smuggler in a local town in my home town in bekaa... I was 6 years old, the war was in its peak time,the dealer used to give me small quantities (in fact only samples), and my job was to deliver them to specific persons, however i was shortly dismissed because i used to lose them..

Picking almonds for the rehben in Louaize. Pay = a lot less than a Chinese kid in a Nike sweatshop. What did I learn? Two things: picking almonds is boring without a cold bottle of Almaza and never ever work or trust the rehben.

Then I was off to the Daily Press in Zouk Mosbeh for a few years while studying at NDU old campus for a measly $250/month.
