I am not knoweldgable about this particular field but I know that there is a Lebanese professor in Stanford in the applied Mathematics department. His name is smthg Farhat. Maybe you can contact him.
Concerning work, its getting harder in US every day. But a degree related to Finance with an engineering bakground is a good combination if you want to work in a big consulting firm.
As to financing your degree, usually its hard if you are an international student applying for an Masters degree. your chances of immediately geting any funding are almost zero especially if you are applying to a Top university wether public or private.

As you can see, i am in France, but i am doing economics. I dunno what is the level of economics in LU but tell me tell you, it's better to have an economical diploma before Finance. Here in france, you can't begin finance from the first year, it is in master. In economics, you will took majors as macroeconomics and microeconomics. Macroeconomics it is all what concerns the country , the state ( financial problems, money, growth, investment....) As for microeconomics it is all which is related to the firm ( comsuption, production, marketing, the law of supply and demand...)
But i never heard that LU is not good.

I don't know if posted in here before, but anyway right now I'm questioning my major. I'm an international business major and actually planning to double major in political science. However, I'm rethinking international business for economics and preferablly macro-economics. I think they'll both be much more related to each other.

Sure it's related since Economics is linked directly or indirectly ( it depends) from the politics... Having Political science degree plus international business = a good ambassador later on... HEHEHEHE...

This year I’m going to finish my B.A in business administration, I think I’m going to do masters in “transport & logistics”; what do you think and know about this major?

If you love Pharmacy LAU for sure! You will hear a lot of opinions about LAU but we have all to admit that they have the best level in Pharmacy in English in Lebanon! LAU isn't that good in other majors but it is well known especially abroad in USA for it is good level in Pharmacy!
So if you want pharmacy, go for LAU!
