As simple as that, ill have my Masters this year also, and ive graduated 2 years ago, so let me tell u thats its quite impossible to find a decent job with our major around here!
in lebanon 4 doors only will open for us.
1- The foreign state ministry (a tournament is held every 4-5 yers or so, the last one was in 2006 and a huge wasta is needed)
2- The United nations (same goes as 1)
3- Journalism (its always the best option, and eza dabbaret 7elak in a TV, as i did, its financilly much better than written journals or radio channels and it leads to wider doors (if ur 7arbou2 enough) )
4- u need to wait majlis el khedme el madaniye la yotolbo "7oukouk wa ma you3dilouha" and a big wasta is needed!

Anyway good luck my collegue:)
Lakan basically lezem daber il wasta before I go to college, if I want to do political sciences... Zodiac why don't you do your masters and then get a phD and teach in a college here?

I am currently doing ES in college saint Joseph Antoura, and I'm planning to study Political Science at the USJ... only I'm very scared of the fact it's really hard to find a job in that domain :( I might also study law....

Planning on Political Science because you like it? Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way in life :D. You gotta do what would get you working as soon as you graduate. And I thought Law too isn't an easy field to find a job in (Lebanon)? If you are deciding between the two, law is a better choice :). It's more or less broader than PS... To study law in Australia you need a score in the top 90s-100, but once you get it it's an easy course, in demand, and a great job (exciting :D)... You can go abroad some day later and do a postgraduate degree in International Law if chances permit :)...

Studying to become a brain surgeon is also easy if you study for it...

Nothing is difficult as long as you study for it (and at least have the minimum required capacity to understand the course)... I mean, someone could suck at economics, but rock at law, and vice-versa... Nothing is easy and everything is easy if you give your best...

No need for these two different majors, it's a waste of potential. He can just carry on with his degree, get a PhD, and get into politics with a Hakim title in
English

True, nothing is difficult if you have the motivation. If you suck at something, it means you don't 'enjoy' it, not that you don't have the brain capacity to understand it. However, there are some who are so thick in the head.
