KSA has very good people and they have achievements in sports, business, etc.. people here are just comparing who's daddy is bigger in terms of universities, etc.. everybody should chill out.

ولأعود لتصنيف الجامعات .. اقول الجامعات في المملكة على قدر عالي جداً وفي تطور مستمر و لدينا جامعتين حاصلتان على الاعتماد الاكاديمي الهندسي العالمي وثلاث اخرى في الطريق للاعتماد. ولا تنسى انها جامعات سعودية ١٠٠ ٪ اعني انها ليست فروع لجامعة امريكية او كندية ... وهذا شي مشرف لنا كسعوديين، وكعرب ايضا.

Well it is far from being a school you can claim to come for and call yourself uneducated, when you have the facilities they have, you might feel proud talking about them. After all humans have all capacities to think and produce, some have more resources than others and that makes the difference in research, with a supercomputer like Shaheen, many things can be researched much faster than the 8080 PCs infected by the c-brain virus in AUB computer labs. and what about that clean nano lab.
The university is itself built within the Aramco compound and has teachers coming from top notch universities.

This list is obviously a joke. Top 5 universities are Saudi, and AUB only came in in 10th place? Really? And whoever genius put this list together isn't smoking pot?

I'm no scholar myself, but if Saudi "universities" are so much better than their Lebanese peers, why is Lebanon flooded by Saudi students?

At least Playboy magazine has the decency to rank US universities by top party schools and schools with the hottest babes. What is this Salafist ranking based on? Who graduates the most Al Qaeda fighters?

you are wrong. My cousins who live in Saudi Arabia cannot go to University there because KSA ONLY allows Saudi Citizens in their University.
They had to come back to Lebanon to Complete University.

I hate to disappoint you but, Lebanon is an Arabic country. It is a founding member of the Arabic League. Our country's Arabic identity is stated in our institution as well.
