Smart home systems in lebanon!!

Solidere does implement BMS (Building Management/Monitoring System)through contractors such as Capelec and Mouawwad and Eddeh.

Can you provide details of what you need to do?

(climate control, spa control, access control, etc...)

When I say home automation technology I'm referring to the systems which integrate climate control, security features, comfort, AV etc... The result is what we usually call a smart home...

Actually I would like to know what is the penetration of this technology in the lebanese residential building sector...the building sector in Lebanon is extremely active, but I feel like not many promoters include this type of technology in their projects...does anyone know?

I'm seriously considering doing some good business in Lebanon related to this technology...actually i have a promising product in mind, but for the mean time i'm gathering as much info as possible. If anyone works in the building sector, electrical engineering etc...i'd like to share some thoughts. It's quite hard to get enough details since this tech is quite new and i'm afraid not really extended in Lebanon.

This is a niche, especially in Lebanon, you need to target high end villas to be able to get higher margins because you will not be able able to get high margins on regular building, you could manage with low margins on residential regular buildings only if you can get bigger sales, but this market is not there on regular buildings.

And it's pretty big too.

They have built Saifi Village and building Saifi Village 2. They also had their hands on the Serail hill project (where Nautilus club is)

I would not suggest this at all, this market is highly political and influenced by contractors backed by Solidere. Unless you have a big da3meh with filthy rich customers waiting for you to start your business, i would not suggest it.
