Resurrecting the thread... Can you stay in a chalet in winter? I suppose not... Where is a nice place to stay for a few weeks away from crowds but close to fun? :D

Yes you can , I have a chalet in AquaMarina and you can stay in it in winter.
some people live there all year round!
