Learning Armenian

I want you to ask me anything you want in armenian ,ill be you're private teacher all ....
there's an other thread teaching italian, but since Armenians are 7% of the population here in Lebanon, you might need to learn Armenian and might also need it in your life ( if you're shopping in an armenian store and want the price to be reduced :P just talk few words in Armenian )

1st lesson.


Parev = HI
inchbes es? ( or you can say : Lav Es ? ) = how are you ?


Inchbes = How
es= are you
Lav = good


the language is unisex btw :P

okay from now on,you lead the lesson,you ask what you wanna learn.


shenorhagalem vor gartatsik = im thankfull that you read.


hatchoghutyun = good luck

Maybe you can follow the lesson schedules of the other language threads? Starting with some basic grammar and introduction!:)

I think japanese of Xena is more easy from armenian..

since u know some russian : na vkuc na tsvet davarishim niet. ( smthg like that as i remember ) the tastes and the colors do not meet ..

and im the teacher , u didnt ask for permission for such question :P just be a good student n follow the class n ask questions in a nice way .

First where did you get that I speak russian? Hell no, and dont have any alike intentions!:p

And then I dont speak french neither, so I still dont know how to pronounce these!:D

So will you give us some basics? How to greet, by different day times, or the key words for bargaining:D etc...

the other ones we dont use it in the western armenian dialect ( i think )

pari yerego- good evening


for good night, its - kisher pari and the answer would be .. louys pari


when you wanna say good night to someone ull say ???? kisher pari
and when someone says kisher pari to you , you'll answer by ??? louys pari.
