hello , i wanna ask something , i think a lawyer or someone who studied these things can know
it's related to el "a7wel el shakhsiyeh"
it's about changing the name or the family name of someone
my question is can someone have a last name that's different from his father's ?????
this is not a joke
i know someone , his entire family is changing their last name because of a fault mnel mokhtar , and they want to fix it , however he want to keep his current last name
can this be done ????

yes it's possible
and we have many old cases that 2 brothers has 2 different family name
but sure it's better if it was same family name in case of Inheritance

Yes it's possible !!! My father's family except my aunt changed their name !
So now, my aunt has a completely different name then my father and uncles.

If you prefer your old name just don't changed it and you will keep it !

thx that's exactly what i am talking about
my father already changed his name (becz his parents did) but my mother and brothers and sisters will do taht but right now they are still with the current last name
as for me i made my decision , i prefer my current last name like 1000 more
