Usually CCE start within the 800-900 $ range,
Three years of experience would move you to the next level 1200 and above

Stay Away from IT, Try to go into management and sales

it depends on your experience , shou 3melet bhal 3 snin ? real programming aw 3am tdayyef ahweh bi sherket programming ???
half the engineers now work as regular technicians anyway + this economic crisis and the comeback of some lebanese from abroad ==> not much for the salaries ....... don't expect much if u don't have some contacts who can get you a decent job somewhere

it really depends in which company you are working and from which university you graduated (besides the experience you have and certificates), I know people who graduated CCE from University X and they STARTED with 1800$ salary, now with 2 years experience they get around 2400$, thats in lebanon but the company they work for is exceptional and is probably the highest rated in the country...

Actually, CCE graduates in Lebanon can be either C or the other C but never the E. Nowadays, it's just a title. If u really want to benefit from what you've worked hard to learn (if you actually did work hard), you have to work abroad.

CCE now either work as programmers or technicians and can hardly reach $2000 unless: they're ACEs, got lucky finding a good paying company (which is usually a foreign company), or work 2 or 3 jobs :D

So if you're getting paid $1400 with 3 years of experience, you're not earning a fair sum. But compared to what the market has to offer, you either have to settle for this or keep looking for a better paying company (that eventually might not be better than your current when it gets to the actual work process/loads).

So choose wisely. Lebanese companies have a simple equation:
if an employee will work 9 hours for $1400, he will work 16 hours for $1450.
This means in plain English, $50 more are not worth the work load/overnights/weekends & vacations missed/stress/lack of motivation/no social life/frustration/... you'll have.

Unfortunately I was chocked to discover that some Lebanese engineers (computer, etc.) are working in the gulf for 1400$ - 1500$ !!! I know many and they are Lebanese University grads. and what's even worse is they are working in Saudi...they ssay simply couldnt find a job in Lebanon and 1500$ is better than sitting home...
