The new 3G has the iPhone 2.0 software and a faster wifi (faster access to the Internet).

Or according to this article @ Apple.com, it'll be available in Canada as well as 21 other countries.

no. I want last year's version which were sold out in march.
as for the new ones, I don't really have to go to the US as they are coming out in canada too this friday, but the problem is they are unlockable yet.
