I see, did you study in credits system or was it like the old french system of USJ? I know USJ system could be tougher in some angles...

They integrate the credit system at my 3rd year! So the first two years were like the old system of USJ not the new one! I have to admit that we were 100 at the beginning of the first year, only 55 passed to the second! It was worth than USJ system, it was like LU system!

In my university dor the one majoring in law, first year law 1700 students, only 850 passed to the second year! So you can imagine the rate of failure.

You know something that shocked me, I was looking at the Business Week list for the top 10 international business schools outside the U.S., and the London School of Economics (LCE) was not on it. The London Business School was, however.

Isn't LCE supposed to be better?

I did a BEng Hons at the University of Nottingham and I am currently doing an MSc in Technical Ventures and the Foundations of Entrepreneurship at University College London (UCL).

London Business School is better than LSE at business, but i think LSE is better at economics.

Man I don’t know the answer of your question but I want to ask you is it true that it is veeeery expensive to learn in the UK? Many told me that and I see you’re interested to complete your studies over there so you must have done some researches, is it that expensive?

As Gio told you.. The LBS is better than LCE for all what may concern business, management, finance, marketing, accounting... LCE is much better in all what concern international economics, trades, industrial economics....
You should do the difference between Business and Economics and in General, Business schools don't give you master in Economics....

Regards,

Take this example if you want to do a great diploma in Business in UK! Taken for the London business School site :

Tuition fees for MBA

Tuition fees for the class commencing September 2007 are £43,490 (This covers the full 15-21 months of tuition).

Fees include tuition, course materials, configuration of personal laptop computers (which meet the School's specification), and a contribution to the London Business School Students' Association. The fee does not include living expenses which vary according to your circumstances and lifestyle.

So it is up to you to see if it is costly or not! And don't forget that you should pay your home location, food, clothes....

So welcome to the expensive world!

N.B : At the rate of Today, 43490 pound is about 80,660.8706 Dollars for the rate of 1.8547.

What is negative about USEK is registration days where you get to act agressively to get a shot and the fact that they rarely give u a chance to meet with an advisor.
Aside of this, tuition fees are good and the variety of courses is good as well. this year they added a list of new elective courses such as wine tasting, marriage & society, a whole sports program, politics & economics, etc... it's cool.
The credit thingy really makes it easier for you to pick a suitable schedule where you either get to go to uni on Monday + friday, or Tuesday + thursday, or Monday, Tuesday ,Thursday and friday.
