Best way to buy online

I recently made a shop and ship account with aramex and it was all nice and dandy until an order that was supposed to cost me 18 bucks for shipping set me back $55. Apparently, customs needed to rob me some and so did Aramex for handling the customs robberies. So my question is:

is there a way to order online and circumvent this much of a payment?

The object originally cost me $140 and ended up costing me $195

if u are buying a laptop or an expensive :thing" from abroad wich u can find cheaper than lebanon in about 300$ for example , then i don't mind being robbed by 50 since aslan 3am waffer 250

the same thing happened to me .. i bought 2 neckties from online store that cost me 2 $ each and after i received i paid for customs and shipping and custom clearence for about 16$ that is very nice, i can buy 2 ties from the local market for 13$ ... and now i plan to buy memory card and a cameras battery but this time i will ask them to deliver to usa and ask my cousin to bring with him on 7th of june hehe.
