so yes, i'm 1000000% against abortion!!!
besides abortion have some sides effect : one of them is that women would have a higher risk of breast cancer!!!
So Xena, you must love life then :D... That's why I said the child might want to be born. We cannot make a decision regarding another human's life.

Xena,
If you weren't born the whole space time continum thingy would've been warped now. Wherever you post now would've been empty spaces, and the mods and the administrators of this forum would be going nuts trying to figure out what's going on. People would think that the forum is haunted, many members would just stop logging in. Rumors would start flying that the FPM practices witchcraft, people would start switching camps, the FPM gets dissolved, and the LF flourishes. Geagea gets to have 27 MP's, and is nominated president of the republic........................

**** I'm so glad you were born.

lol Dalzi, no actually i inherited "sakafat el mawt" from my mom

but yes every child want to be born!!! and no one has the right to take life away from him not even his mother!!
so for those who are saying it's the mother's choice to decide, i say it was her choice whether to get pregnant or not! and not whether to kill her unborn child or not!!

(besides, i can't imagine the loss the world would have had if i was aborted!!! )

edit : 4U2IMI8 loool!! soooo funny!!!!

When I was so young, I didn't have a problem concerning the abortion process.
This has changed completely when I heard the sound and the heart beat of a four-months unborn baby during a lecture in my school.
Add to it, the harmful scenes I saw when they let us watch how the abortion happens.

Boiler!!
yes i remember during my first year in college i had to make a presentation about abortion! i was against it for personel reasons, but i didn't really have strong feelings about it! but when i did my researches and watched videos about how it's done, etc.. i started to feel it's barbaric!!
if only mothers knew that the unborn child is either decapitated, burned alive, or left to starve, i bet they would think twice before going through an abortion!!!
and i read a lot of pro-choice articles and couldn't be convinced by what they say wala shway!!

Yes, I'm totally against it, unless there's a health issue that requires such an action.

It's a crime condemned by all religions. It's like killing a living person.

Lets leave religion here out, you dont have kids out of religion right?:)

Let me ask you this, what would you do if you got pregnant bc of rape? Sorry for this extreme example, but there are situations when abortion is justifiable.

How would you face such tragedy? If you choose to keep the baby, what would you tell him/her later, what would you feel when you see the face of the raper in his/her face? Could you bare it, carrying this trauma all your life, and making his/her life miserable too?

Of course you can also adapt the child, but nobody guarantees that later hew/she wont find out, that her/his life wont collapse.

No, i won't have kids outside religion because I believe a child should be brought into a stable family.

I don't know what one would do in rape cases. I can't keep religion out of this coz it's what I look back on. Rape isn’t a “mistake”, it’s being victimized, in that case abortion is better even though religion would condemn it. So there we go, I'm following a murderous mentality here.

talking about rape..
actually if you abort during the first 40 days it's ok...scientificly and religiously speaking ( i know you don't like the religiously part :p)
since at the age of 40 days the embryo has the first brain wave...before that it's considered as a future life but not life yet!
religiously speaking ( or at least accrording to my religion) the embryo has a soul at the age of 40 days, and abortion is allowed before that!

so in case of a rape, the woman should be alerted to do it before the 40 days! (at least that's how i think it should work)

I wasnt aware of this, that religion is not condemning it before 40 days. And of course the sooner the better, why waiting months. And in case of a rape, ideally the woman shall go to see a doctor asap, and if theres a possiblity she shall see a psychologist as well.

Well sadly though when rapes happen in the 3rd world or in warn torn regions, these kind of treatments are not available.

And about religion don’t get me wrong, I am not an atheist, but am not a hard follower neither, I dislike the religious dogmas, and ways enforced on us.

Like I would never have a child just bc religion tell so, I would never get married just bc religion tell so, and I would choose abortion when I find it the right thing to do, regardless of any religion.

What do you mean? Religion tells you not to have a child out of wedlock, and i believe this is better for the child himself. As for not getting married, religion doesn't tell you not to get married, it says the opposite "get married".
