Yes I would. Just because I'm unlucky the first time around doesn't mean it was a bad idea.

Exactly!!! So not all your fingers are the same, you had bad luck and the woman u married made you unhappy, but that doesnt mean it was because she was Lebanese, maybe you just didn't get along.

Well, it doesn't really matter which nationality you are if you get along!!! But it is true however that the closer the other cultures are the easier it is to find an individual from that nationality which is compatible with you, (for example, that's why the most common marriages with foreigners are lebanese-french marriages).

On a personal scale, I think I pretty much have a Mediterranean culture, southern french people, italians, syrians, greeks, lebanese, etc... I think those are the people I am most compatible with...

Just wanna tell you the story of a cousin who traveled and lived in the US. He married an American. She refused to come back with him to Lebanon and forced him to move to a state which he disliked and had 0 friends.

after 22 years of marriage she divorced him and told him that she needed to discover herself...She left him broke .

So you have creepy people everywhere!!!

I didn't say I'm unhappy in my marriage because she's Lebanese. I just think that if I get married again, I would want to try something else. If I end up falling in love with a Lebanese, God be with me

am I the only one who thinks that the own tribe is just too family like, like I would marry my cousin or something? In this globalized age, one shouldnt stick by all means to his/her "village"...thanks to the multicultural societies now we have a great variety to choose from:)
And actually I can feel very much close to a person seemingly from a distant culture, while I dont fit with my own folks...

Why do you call this creepy? Just because she refused to be an obedient housewife?? Maybe your cousin should have thought twice before marrying an american girl, since they are more individualist than Lebanese women
