To be honest I would definitely marry a non-Lebanese, maybe it is even more welcomed than marrying a Lebanese hehe. Marriage is pretty complicated though.

Surely it is, any marriage. But one has to always consider how much you prefer your own traditions and how open you are toward others, eventually how liberal you are.

No, they have values, but it is different, family, believing, friendship neighborhood and stuff like this start to vanish in the west, it is a fact no one can deny it.
The level of divorce is very high, whenever the kid has 18 years old, he will start his own life and usually forget totally about his parents that raised and carry him since the day he saw life.

They have values but it is directed into a different direction.

You are right about the difference in family issues between the ME and the West, in the Western world people take it less conservative, less family traditions...however let's not mix things here. The level of divorce in Lebanon is low just because it is so hard to get one, not because people are super happy especially with the widespread cheating, everybody knows it just noone talks about it

Also people are more individualist in the West, the system also favours it, and in most of the countries they have social care, thats why you see old people in the West are not desperate and don't need so badly the support of the children. While in Lebanon the old people can rely on their children only.

Personally even if am getting the best care system in the world, i would like to see my children sitting next to me and enjoying life with them along with my decedents.
I still have this oriental/Lebanese way of thinking, if a non Lebanese female can afford this for sure i have no problem with this.
