Why do Lebanese people curse God?

Most of us claim they believe in God. Most of us claim they have a religion. Yet, for most of us, when we get angry, we start cursing God. Bet3assb men 7adan, bet ballich bet sebelo ekhto, ba3den emmo, ba3den rabbo, as if you are not thinking of what your saying or as if God (for the believers) can be cursed.

But for agnos, God probably exists, so from an agnostic POV, you may get punished if you curse God.

How do you know what God will do or doesn't.
