Unbelievable... unacceptable!!

Too many won't agree with what I am posting here, but I am really upset from our passion for being led!!

I will resume as much as I can...
If we believe that a % of our personnality is predicted by the day of our birth, another by the name chosen for us, another by society, a % by our parents, some other by school education and friends... and -why not- by our appearance such as the color of our hair, eyes, skin....
Then comes the daily horoscopes...
All of our destiny is predicted by stars and planets...
Our present, our future... our actions, reactions....

And I ask myself... Where is OUR will?? OUR work?? OUR decisions?
The wierdest thing is that sometimes we believe all of that, but start to use our brain when it comes to GOD!!

I totally disagree with you. The proof against what you are saying is that 2 identical twins raised by the same parents, going to the same school and having the same friends have different characters, different capabilities and different achievements.

As for the day of our birth, the astrological sign, the planets, the stars and all these kharafet (to me), well when you do not believe in them, then they can't affect you can they?

I think each person is born with his own character no matter the effect of the upbringing. Of course the family and education will play a role in the formation of the person but many examples in history have showed that people coming from poor, uneducated environments have achieved unexpected things, were considered geniuses...

I don't see where you don't disagree! In fact, I am against astrology w bla blas... Each person build himself step by step... That's what I believe in... I am not from that kind of persons who never leave their houses without reading hosroscopes, checking astrology... I have a feeling that you didn't really get my message!!

For those who misunderstood the thread: NO I AM NOT AN ASTROLOGY believer... I just can't understand how can a HUMAN being believe such things and rely all of his/her life on!! They are really weird!! Some people just can't live if they are NOT LED!!
