Then she wore a scarf on her head and a long, black, loose gown.

Then she covered her face but let her eyes show.

Then she covered her whole face.

Then she decided to stay home.

لو كان عدم الحجاب أو "التبرّج" أو لبس المحجبات الضيّق هو سبب مشكلة التحرّش في الدول العربية كما يقول البعض، فلماذا إذاً التحرش ليس مشكلة إجتماعية في أوروبا وكندا وأميركا حيث أغلبية النساء غير محجبات بل ومتحررات جداً جداً بلباسهن والرجال معظمهم من غير المسلمين؟ ولماذا مشكلة التحرّش أقوى بكثير في بلدان عربية محافطة كمصر من بلدان عربية "متحررة" نسبياً كلبنان مثلاً؟

مشكلة التحرّش في الدول العربية تتعلق بإستغلال لسلطة الرجل وعدم محاسبته وتكريس مفهوم أن المرأة عبارة عن جسد وعدم إحترامها وعدم معاملتها كإنسانة وشريكة حياة (عاملة كانت أم مربيّة أجيال في المنزل)، وهذا يظهر في الكثير من الأغاني والأفلام والكتابات والمنتديات في يومنا هذا للأسف

Anyway this video portreys the lack of respect toward women, it's a pity that women would need to wear all black from head to toe to gain some respect in the society. What kind of society is that??

However such individual ignorants exist everywhere regardless of cultures. The reaction I don't think it should be to dress up like ninjas however it might have a scary effect.

I pity those women who are forced to wear burqa but pity those more who choose to wear it.

/just a personal note, here I never saw such pretty girls wearing burqa, all are old and fat...hmm makes me wonder/

yep I got that in the video, however the common argument for covering up is not that they want to hide away the woman's beauty from peering eyes of the men?? I think those men who came up with these laws must be quite paranoid and frustrated
