ya but religion is much more thn those three points. thr r people who are addicted to religion to the point wer thy kill people who arent the same religion as thm and its been going on for 1000s of years, it doesnt mean religion is bad, the same with porn, it can be used in a useful way and it can be taken to extremes like everything else in life.
a glass of wine is healthy but a bottle is bad.

Yes so Religion has Nothing to do with this, It's the people who are Bad and if he doesn't kill them in the name of religion then he will kill them in the Name of sumthing else and if he ain't addicted to Religion he will be addicted to some political Party and kill in its name ... Basically in our case in Lebanon the muslims and christians are a minority, the rest are just Tribes, for example the tribe of Sunni and the Tribe of Marouni and the Tribe of Durzi... and they kill eachother based on the tribes and what their tribal leader thinks... Most people have a bad idea about religion because of this majoraty of Lebanese who have not yet reached the level of being part of a religion But act on Tribal instinct...

in antiquity, lebanon had the priestesses of venus or aphrodite with their temples.

now, that's one religion that has a progressive view on the holiness of sexuality that i wouldn't mind if i my say so :)

I was defending Religion in General, as for our Topic some guy called Zouxi decided to bring up religion and some other guy called Freezbie decided to comment on that, I Know that ur Not a Muslim so i wouldn't use Islamic Arguments obviously and I never depend on those in these types of Discussions... As for porn and how it affects people well that depends on the people for example I once was having a conversation with a guy about School costumes and that school would not allow girls to come wearing a bikini to class, He told me that he is for freedom of choice and that it's ok for her to wear that and no one should force her to wear this or not ...Then I told him but if this thing is normal for you it ain't that normal for others who "might" have sexual/biological needs and won't concentrate on thier studies and will instead keep looking at the girls ect.ect...

Now the purpose of the story above is that There is the "bikini Girl" in class element which can be considered the pornography and there are the students, and as you see one of them was all for this freedom and he would'nt mind but the others will be affected greaty and thier grades might drop , thier way of thinking might be affected (poisoned) and they may fail in thier future because of it.

So we want to close these Doors and not open them... let's have a healthy society at least...when the europeans were asked about what they regret most in the past years they said it is Giving up thier Morals and ethics...
