bashar we dont open a thread based only on a link we will apreciate more if you post your comments , so we can debate better and see diffrent points of views .
bashar its just that members sometimes can't log to the link you provide, so it will be better if you copy paste the contents of the link here!
and please refrain on doing this in the future!
thank you!
Sorry Bashar, I am not a very human science/biology kind of a guy. I read your link but did not get it. Can you explain , have you tried it? Does it work?
Bashar, the way i understood it, its not a weight loss regime or anything.
It simply explains what goes on with your body when you exercise with weights, or you run fast.
Your body uses oxygen for its muscle cycles to produce energy. When you exercise hard, sometimes the oxygen supply isnt enough, so it switches to anaerobic respiration for those cells, which leads to accumulation of lactic acid, which leads to the fatigue and pain you feel in your muscles.
This isnt a new way to exercise or anything.
Btw if some people thought it ment exercising while cutting down ur oxygen, dont even think about it.
The link provided is for Wiki encyclopedia... IT explains what the word anaerobic means in Biology...
Actualy some cells have the ability to produce energy without a supply of oxygen (like LP explained)... These cells can live in an "anaerobic atmosphere"... I cant see a link between the production of energy without oxygen and getting fit !! ... As far as i know it's not oxygen that produces fat!! oxygen is O2 .... Fat is a complex chain of Carbons !!
Bashar: anaerobic exercise is exactly when you feel pain in your legs when you run upstairs to 3rd or 4th floor. It has to do with relatively low supply of oxygen to meet the increased demand of your hard (or fast) working muscles; so in the process of producing energy for your muscles to work with less oxygen this anaerobic process gets underway and it produces lactic acid that starts the painful sensation in your muscles; it is not new but it is used by some for weight reduction as is aerobic exercise: remember aerobic becomes anaerobic when demand for oxygen exceeds supply ( for whatever reason); is that good enough info or you have some more ????
