Politics is my middle name, everyone in my 4500 student school knows who I am just because of my excitement for politics!
I've been like that for about 3 years now, and honestly, I have won a lot more friends than I have lost! A lot of pro-oppoition students actually started admiring me and getting to know me better because of my positions! Come to think of it, I never lost any friends because of politics! All the hardcore LFers I know have never liked me since kintergarden! I think politics must really affect on one's mentality!
Of my 4 Best friends, one doesn't talk politics, the other is an ex-LFer I converted along with all her family to HA (but they still can't stand GMA), the third is a brainwashed 14feber whose Idol is May Chidiac, I always fight with him but we never take it personally, as for the last, he is Kataeb, his Ideals are the exact opposite of mine, but somehow we get along perfectly! we both state the facts as they are but each of us looks at them in a way! We have never argued because of politics even though the only thing we have in common in that field is that we both hate Geagea's guts!!!
My dad's family is constituted of Marada, FPMers, SSNPers, LCP, Nasserists and Hezbollah supporters, this is the first time in history they all get along!
My mother's family is constitued mainly of ex-chamounists converted into mostly LFers and some FPMers, my mom never gets along with any of them!

Seriously, I cant stand people who are extremly pro something specially pro-LF. I usually find them very stupid, so I dont even bother making new LF friends, you can call me racist, I dont care.

But the old friends, I like to tease them specially if they are super kataeb or LF or pro-FM. I just love doing that, but they still friends because they never take politics too seriously and they belive in different views and opinions. Very respectful people.

I dont understand people hating the orange color just because it represent FPM. I find them very immature lol

I never lost friends or family because they were F14ers.I enjoy too much making fun of them in their face,to afford losing them.

In our family cessions, when among brothers and cousins...,you will usually hear more than 20 persons shouting at each others and laughing loudly, from here and there.

We always confront each others with the lowest of the lowest jokes,(those are the most funny ones) so we got used to bash each others with a big evil laugh.

Telling a cousin that we will soon wipe the floor with all the febers, only generates a big laugh and a funny counter reply...and so on...

Even when we bring our friends into this, they quickly get in the game and love the taste of it very much...hehe

It takes us maximum 2 minutes become familiar with a cousin's friend, and within an hour or so,you would find part of the family and the friends in one camp, and the other part of the family and the friends,in the other camp.

The funniest thing is that you usually find yourself in the same camp with some of your cousin's friends (who you don't even know),against your cousin, while your friend might be with another camp against you,and with your cousin (and they don't even know each others either)

Yet at the end of the dinner, you take your friends back and say goodnight to all, while your cousins leave back with their friends to continue the evening in some other club or restaurant.

Crazy people...But so funny.

Dealing with 14Febers is not that big of a problem, Sometimes They actually Think and understand and some are pretty logical. BUT TRY DEALING WITH EXTREMISTS :) Thank God we were blessed with Saad to do the Fitnah and seperate the Sunnah like they've been never seperated before.

That's because you're one of them ;). Bring a hardcore HA supporter from us and put him to deal with them LOL! There's no place to start when they've made them hate a Shiaa more than Israel.

I once discussed some things with an extremist Wahhabi from Egypt. He turned out to be a 7mar disguised as Einstein. They inject them with lies and too much hate towards us. His hate towards the sect made him hate HA and Nasrallah. Everything he said was ridiculous and false. And the more ridiculous to me was that after the conversation, he still didn't give up his pathetic flirting that made me sick. At another stage I had this other dumb Egyptian ask me 'who's the prophet?' waiting for me to say Ali . I told him 'my grandfather'. This is all they teach them, the Shiaa are this the Shiaa are that and then HA are Shiaa w la77e2 jahl. Strong weapon.

The Jewish Saoud family has succeeded in dividing the Lebanese Muslims for political goals. When they drop dead i'll be inviting you to a party

Actuall ive never seen them more united. You know, when a group is attacked by an external entity, they receive a boost in cohesiveness.

Anyway, back to your topic, I never lost friends due to political reasons. Even during May 7, I was lecturing and helping an HAer with his exams in AUB. Recently seret bmarre2lo kam latche t2al, but he doesnt reply back :D, bta3ref fe finals.

Family wise, all are Beirutis, some love saad, others dont care much about politics but have recently developed animosity towards HA.

.
Are u sure ther united ;) Maybe in Beirut But not were i come from, In Fact I was just talking to 2 Hariri suppoters who don't seem to be hariri supporters no more, They seem to have adopted some Salafist ideas and They were telling me That " we (sunna) would not have lost (in may 7) If the ppl of beirut were following God and Not Hariri and His dollars". Then they started critisizing Hariri's policies and Making Takfir bla bla bla.... Ofcourse they got angry after i told them Politics has nothing to do with Religion BECAUSE THAT'S HOW I SEE IT, Definitly no Religion involved in anything in this region.

BTW I think one of them doesn't even pray :|

I didnt say they are fully untied under the "Hariri" banner, no one has absolute representation.

What happened has shaken the sunnis trust in Hariri, but it made them acquire animosity to HA.
