Default jogging - 26th May 2006

To keep in shape, my best sport is jogging. I think that it shapes you the most out of all other sport. Usually I go to the gym and run 45 min, but now that I am out of school, i stopped and I just started again but outside instead which I thought is way harder than on a treadmill.

Anyone jogg regularly?
For how long?
Any tips for joggers?

I used to jogg everyday for an hour and a half (15 min allee, 15 min retour coz i walk to wear i jog :P)
usually it just takes away the stress and helps me think better about stuff... Tips? Don't just wear too much clothes to sweat faster coz its bad.. drink a lot of water, and smile to everyone u meet!

i use to jogg daily for an houre sometimes morein the winter i use to go to the gym in summer in natur or at the beach but now i do it less (and i jogg in the FPM forum )
well one thing never wear those things that makes you sweat its bad you should let you body breath always wear coton cloths (survetement) ! drink water as you can it helps a lot !

you jogg 5 hrs in one day im sure its per week :D hehe

i jog, two times per week, 40 mn every time..i do it near the "canal de midi" or the "garonne"...actually i like to chose nice places to jog, it motivates me! i don't forget to put my mp3 player, i drink before going for jogging!

I used to jogg when I was in Leb for 30 mn everyday and I used to go to the gym.
Since I am abroad, I think i jogg all day long, I walk more than 3 kilometers per day, so at night No need to jogg. I replace jogging by a kind of gym coming from Sweden called Gym Suédoise, it's a course given by a teacher for about 1h, it includes échauffement, musculation, abdos, running, jogging, étirement and relaxation, you don't feel you are tired because all this is with gr8 music...
Etirement after jogging or after any sports is extremetly important to avoid el to3tidil. And after every efforts, you should drink 1 L of water, or one beer it seems it's good after an hour of sport, this is what my teacer of Gym used to tell everytime....

The last time i serioulsy hit the streets for a jog was about 3 years ago.
I used to job for a distance between 7-10 km (according to the mood). I can't tell how long it takes, as i used to walk to where i job, then go with my jogging partners to a little walk (HEHE, we used to walk after jogging.. to avoid to3dil).

I stopped for ~ 3 years.
I went to jog shi 1 month ago, I could hardly beat the 1 km barrier....

So my advice : NEVER STOP !!!!!!!

when i use to jogg on the treadmill in the gym in uni, i use to do it for 45 min 5 days a week. But now that i'm out of uni and no gym, i'm more lazy to do it outside and i think it is more tiring..
yesterday when i went jogging (i hadnt jogged for like 2 month) i came back dying. and i ran for less than 45 min, maybe like 35 min.

anyways, i think 30 min , 3 times a week is good.

yea never stop easy to say, harder to actually never stop !!
