What do you think about Hypnosis? Did you ever tried?
They say it's good to stop smoking, loose weight, panic relief, to heal chilhood traumas or pannick attacks, etc. Hypnosis is a natural and often spontaneously occurring state of consciousness in which the conscious mind, the part of our mind that judges, evaluates, and analyzes is "put to the side" so that our subconscious mind predominates. When someone is in a hypnotic state of mind they are open to accepting ideas, concepts and suggestions that they may integrate into their belief system. This can effect a change in feeling about an issue, in addition to changing behavior relating to that issue. Many believe that it is the ability to change feelings, more than behaviors, that makes hypnosis so powerful. It is NOT true that someone can control your mind while you are in hypnosis. In fact, many hypnosis experts like to say that rather than lose control, you gain control while in hypnosis.

I have never tried Hypnosis but I find it quite interesting... I would like to hear from anyone what's the feeling after the "when I snap my fingers..." thing hehe!
According to books, hypnosis is guided relaxation. It has been successful for many people and is used to combat smoking for instance. You can also practice self hypnosis and achieve results....

well i have in my imagination that pic when someone had been hypnoses and he walk in the street without any target ... nowhere .... no goals just running ... like we run in this life without goals sometimes :)
its kinda a joke but this is the reality we are hypnotized we are in running in this life we have goals but we are like blind , we follow the "shadow" of our dreams! in the street in all corners even in our brain ! this is how i see hypnosis .. in the end we turn OFF our brain - we go back to the O level with "white memory " tabularaza

Psychiatry today is geared towards short term treatment to enhance profits; anti-depressants and hypnosis do nothing for the patient except keep him/her reliant on the doctor, which translates into extra dollars for the doctor. All in all, if you’re using hypnosis as a treatment for psychological problems, its best you face your issues rather than avoid them; you can run but you can’t hide. Quote:

He's overrated. | | | | | | |
