wka CPL any pain and especially the teeth can only be reduced or even stoped by a very simple : Vodka+ Pineapple , at least a bottle of Absolut black 50%, i garantee you that the pain "stops" ... s2al majrreb w ma tes2al "el Hakaym"
an another kind of pain will begin ( about 10 cm above your mouth) :D :D

I had a molar tooth removed yesterday (not a wisdom tooth) because it has been broken earlier and infection apparently hit down to the bottom creating abscesses making me live a hell of a pain. The doctor told me it's not worth saving so she decided to take it out, and so she did!
Right now it's my whole left side of the jaw up until the ear that hurts so badly that breathing/swallowing hurts, I've been on extensive medication (6 advils per day + algoflex + antibiotics) and the pain just doesn't seem to show any intention to fade. I have been trying also warm water with salt, but nothing helps.
Is there any professional here who can give advice? Is this pretty normal? I would like to know what can be done, or if I could just go and shoot that dentist.
(can't sleep, barely can eat/drink/talk)

2 panadine forte and 2 nurofen at the same time, Youl have paracetamol,codine , and ibuprofen all dimming your pain receptors. Its a combination you cant beat.
And its a pretty safe dose, Not recomended, But it is safe, Its way under the threshold. I used it when i got my wisdom teeth pulled out.
The pain has long gone and the wound healed, nurofen worked fine, I was taking about 3 per day (which is the maximum allowable amount), for a week or so.
I still have my tooth as souvenir
(btw, I have 3 additional hidden teeth, for some genetic reason -my father has 4 of those- so I don't have to worry, I still have two more to spare :P )

Just on a side note, don't take Nurofen, advil or any other drug for a tooth pain unless you're sure there's no infection, and if there is you must be given antibiotics .... otherwise the infection could become severe and there might be complications
