Default How often do you exercise? - 6th April 2008

Exercising could be a tough habit to acquire, however it does pay dividends..

Is exercising part of your daily or weekly habits?

What do you do like walking, jogging, running or lifting weights?

What do you suggest for those want to start exercising, any tips or advice in order to keep it steady?

Cheers

I exercise at least one day a week. I play football, and I jog from time to time also.

I exercise 4 times a week, twice of which are weights sessions and the other two spin (bicycle) classes. I find it to be a good balance between strength vs stamina and upper-body vs lower-body.

An average of 2 hours per day 5 days a week, can be less (hours and days) or more (mostly) depending on the schedule. Mainly Pilates, yoga, running, weights, spinning, and the fun entertaining stuff :D... I've been hooked onto pilates for years, yoga is only something i stated this year, but i regret not doing it before...

You need to work on both flexibility and strenght. If starting new, first of all you have to be very patient, it takes weeks or ever months of hard work for you to see the difference. The best way to start is by combining beginner pilates or yoga with spinning or jogging and some muscle pumping sessions in between (ouch ).

I take a day break between spinning classes. Say I do one on Monday, i do the second on Wednesday. I don't enjoy spinning, boring .

Not boring if you have a hot female instructor in front of you

I've been excercising for a few years now, I do weights 3 times per week and Muay Thai 3-4 times a week also. I can not imagine my life without both....

It is never late to start excercising, even if you're old, so get of your butt and do something.
