Default Headache - 5th April 2006

I have been passing through a headache in the past 5 days and still. It is an unusual headache. It comes at times when I am not doing anything or when i am seating. It is of those pains that comes and goes instantly, it is not a very strong pain but it is annoying. It mostly occur in the front head and sometimes in the sides. I feel my forehead is going to fall, I feel it heavy. Tonight I felt like I was having a fever, but it was not. I feel emotionally changed with this headache. I feel weak at times.
I took Panadol, Vitamin C and still.
Anyone know what might that be?

It might just be happening because of stress but it also might be sometihng more serious since uve been experiencing it for a while. I would suggest you go to a specialist to find out what's wrong, and get the correct treatment.

akh headaches! i'm suffering from them lately a lot! i end up having 2 panadols extra! i think the best way if you're working to take short breaks! and to walk! and most of all you should sleep well to be able to work in a better way! plus the stress plays a major role~ when you're at work concentrate only at it! and NEVER NEVER take with you at home!

Laranja,
I used to have the same symptoms, annoying headache for several consecutive days. i tried several remedies, only one thing helped me :
I stopped banging my head on the wall before going to work !

No really, try the following:
1- have a goodnight sleep (sleep early, wake up late)
2- have a cup of coffee, nescafe or tea,
3- have a very light snack before going to bed
4- at noon, have one heck of a lunch
5- make sure you do not have a flu, or grippe (if so, see a doctor! don't post in the forum !)

seriously now, I use one of the 1st 4 tools to help me get rid of my headaches

w salemtik!

If this is the first time you face something like this(consecutive days),it is very important that you check the doctor.Headaches may result from internal factors(constipation, troubles in the stomach or you might have a weak eyesight or a tooth inflamation). So,if it is an internal cause, you need to fix it or else you will keep on having headaches.

headaches can be very benign..

however, few things to be aware of:
-how old u r? headache for the first time at the age of 50 needs more evaluation than regular panadol

-the quality of the pain is important.. a pulsating headache on one side of the head with perhaps nausea may be migraine. also may come with light and noise avoidance. tend to be recurrent.

a sharp pain on one side with tearing (not crying) may be cluster head.
the most common is tension headache. it can have any location and duration is very variable. it is usually related to stress and sleeping is usually helpful.

other benign causes of headache are abnormal vision (like hyperopia or not well fitting eye glasses)..

those benign conditions can present with many different variations and therapy is different for each..

associated symptoms like fever, neck pain, change in mental status, vomiting, family history of cancer, focal weaknesses, blurred or decreased vision or any other neurological symptoms --> u need to be checked...

Same problem here, right now too actually!
With the only difference I dont take Panadol its a bit too strong, rather aspirin. But I try to avoid taking medicine at all, except when I cant take it anymore.
For me I guess the not enough sleepin must be the problem. lol but from sleeping is never enough, right?
