Dalzi, you also didnt address your accusation of 'zionist connections' against the political prisoners, especially those many leftist and Mossadeghists ones, who held pretty anti-Israeli and anti-Shah dispositions.
You might as well call the Shi'ite victims of Saddam's regime, 'zionist agents' too (and you didnt answer me on this one either).
You said you've read alot, so I'm very interested to know your sources of facts and information.
I await the evidences of their 'zionist connections.' This should be very very interesting
P.S. I've looked at your posts and threads, and you have made references to articles and essays, so yes you are prone to explain the 'authentic' and 'non-authentic zionist' judgements, on your part. Logical consistency is very tough, I know

So your whole targeting argument is gtting staler by the minute. | Come on ya dude. The number of replies you recieved on those threads are 13 exactly. Here we have 70+ replies and counting. Mostly bashing Iran.
The number of times the thread about the USA was viewed only 110 times, with some replies of poeple bashing Iran in this thread were apologetic in a sense. This thread has been viewed over 700 times.
If that does not show you targetting by certain people then I do not know what will.
My statement on targetting Iran is valid and still stands. | | | | | Registered Member

16th June 2007
This has never happened in the entire history of the Islamic republic. It will be interesting to see the reaction to this. Quote: DISSIDENT AYATOLLAH FACES THE DEATH PENALTY IN IRAN Ayatollah Seyed Hossein Kazemieni Boroujerdi, the renegade cleric who takes controversial positions, received a death sentence last week from a special cleric court of the IRI in Tehran.
The authorities tried Ayatollah Boroujerdi behind closed doors, without the benefit of legal representation and convicted him of more than 30 counts against the Islamic Republic.
In a communiqué sent by his followers on Monday, and in accordance with their leader’s request, a call to save Boroujerdi is being sent to Iranian expatriates, international media and human rights organizations.
Some of the counts against Boroujerdi are so trumped-up as to be fascinating. Among them are — using the phrase of “ religious dictatorship” instead of “Islamic Republic”, accusing the Ayatollah Khomeini of “deception”, “lies”, and “reconditioning of traditional Islam,” and de-legitimizing the “rule of the Islamic jurisconsult” (velayat-e faqih), which is title of the so called “supreme leader”, Ali Khamenei.
Reports from Iran indicate that the cleric is suffering from numerous illnesses, many a result of the inhumane treatment and torture he has received while in prison. More than 80 of his followers, who were arrested along with the Ayatollah, are in similar shape and situation as their leader.
In a letter written to grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani of Iraq, Boroujerdi has complained about his current situation and has asked him for help and assistance.
Before the Islamic Republic of Iran’s goons stormed his residence and arrested him along with hundreds of his followers in October of 2006, Mr. Broujerdi conducted many interviews with the media in the west and preached to his followers and other people his points of view about the current situation in Iran and why change is needed. He told them that in his opinion, Iranian’s faith in Islam was far stronger during the Shah’s time, and that belief in God had fallen victim to the theocracy of Islamic Republic.
The real Islam, he preaches, is free of political ornaments and it is in the verses of the Quran with true interpretation, which is different than that provided by the Iranian regime. He has said “We should help people worship their God again and make peace with God. People have turned away from God because of repression, discrimination, and pressure.”
Last summer, a group of Boroujerdi’s followers who were not behind bars staged a sit-in at his residence in Tehran, complaining about their treatment by the authorities. It took the Islamic government more than 70 days to break the protest
Mr. Boroujerdi comes from a clerical background with a history of dissent.
His father, Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi, defied the clerical government and never accepted the rule of the IRI or Khamenehi’s legitimacy. He died in 2002.
Boroujerdi believes that the government carefully planned his father’s death. If nothing is done to save him, he will be next.

Now, I'm a bit bored, so I will just predict the apologetic reaction to this news: - The ayatollah has opposing views to the regime, therefore he is a zionist agent, and the sentence is justified.
- The article is a pure fabrication against Iran, by zionist propaganda, and therefore its completely false.
- The ayatollah criticized Khomeini, the infallible holy imam of divine status, and therefore the sentence is justified.
What else am I missing? I would hate to leave anything out. | | | | | Registered Member

Some background information on Ayatollah Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi: Quote:
Ayatollah Seyyed Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi is an Iranian Muslim cleric who advocates the separation of religion and government. He first expressed his opposition to the Islamic government of Iran in 1994. He wrote to Pope Benedict XVI and the European Union to complain about the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of his father Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeini Boroujerdi in 2002, the subsequent confiscation of his father's mosque, and his own and his followers' harassment by Iran's theocratical government.
He opposes the concept of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurists. He said Iranians are "tired of the religion of politics and political slogans... they (the Iranians) believe that they are loyal to the fundamentals of the true religion and the Prophet's mission, but they are opposed to the politicization of religion and its exploitation by a group that has nothing to do with true Islam. Islam is the religion of tolerance, forbearance, and mercy, to the point where [the Qur'an] emphasized to us that 'there is no compulsion in religion."
Boroujerdi and many of this followers were arrested in Tehran on October 8, 2006, following a clash between police and hundreds of his followers. Iranian officials charged him with having claimed to be a representative of the hidden Imam, a venerated figure in Shia Islam. Boroujerdi has denied these charges. October 7 demonstration
The Iranian government has issued a warrant for Borujerdi's arrest and imprisonment in Evin Prison, and has imprisoned some of his followers. Supporters and students of the Ayatollah have been living at his home in order to protect him. On October 7, 2006 a large crowd of over 1,000 people including many women gathered around his house and prevented his arrest by police forces and was able to repel them. The Iranian news service IRNA, posted pictures the demonstration and printed some of the slogans shouted by the crowd: "Freedom, freedom - This is our incontrovertible right," (a counterpoint to the slogan shouted by supporters of the regime during Friday prayers: "Nuclear energy - This is our incontrovertible right," and, "[We are] ready for martyrdom according to our traditional religion - that is, Islam that is not political".

Why do you celebrate such regimes?
People are not dumb Dalzi to notice what is happeining in Iran, and I dont need Israeli sources, please get over your Israeli phobia!! walaw your victimization wont lead nowhere.
The main problem still remains, you and Abufijli as well, who defend the regime of ANajad, please do that in Iran and not from Sydney!!! If you want to support it, go and live there, and then I will give you credibility!
But this doesnt count, when you from the comfortable west, within all freedoms, you are preaching for ANajad, while respectable women in Iran are being beaten and their rights are violated.
Go there, and help the police to beat those women, then I will give you credibility!

Students, scholars, writers, human right activists, political opposition figures, clerics who oppose the regime, the everyday people who want to live in freedom, they have to unite, organize mass gatherings, they have to raise their voice in unision to defeat the dictatorial regime!!
