I envy this cigarette of yours, because it touches your hand, kisses your lips, and dies at your feet | | | | | Registered Member

''Champix'' is the magic bullet, I have seen this new drug work on so many people its wonderful to see a breakthrough, Its much better then the Old anti-depressent ""zyban''.
''Champix relieves withdrawal symptoms and tobacco craving
associated with smoking cessation by acting as an agonist for
alpha(4)beta(2) nicotine receptors in the brain, which are associated
with nicotine dependence. At the same time, if a person smokes a
cigarette while receiving treatment, Champix acts as an antagonist to
inhibit nicotine from binding to alpha(4)beta(2) nicotine receptors,
restricting the patient's sense of satisfaction associated with nicotine,'' | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

I quit after taking Champix and believe me I was a heavy smoker (around 2 packs a day).
I think if I can do it, anyone will. It's been 10 months already

I love every breath of it, nothing and no one will convince me to stop smoking.
I also believe that people who judge other people by their smoking habits are complete idiots.
I love it most - when I'm straight out of the bed
- with Ayran yoghurt
- with a nice lemonade
- out in the cold
- in a smoking cloudy pub (you're bothered by the smoke, step out)
- with a good black bitter coffee
- before, while having and after sex
- while walking down the street
- while reading
I love to make circles with it.

Any suggestions on how to make him quit without making any pressure lol. | here is a new medicine called Champix in Lebanon, (Chantix and Chantrix in the USA). It is new, he has to take one tablet morning and evening, without the need to stop smoking, he will quit smoking after 2 weeks lawa7do.
The problem with this medicine is that it is expensive, this will cost him around 300 dollars per month, he will need to take it over 6 months, and it might extend to 12 months.
The other way is this gadget, the electronic cigarette.
It's a cigaret that can be filled with nicotine, he inhales nicotine without producing any smoke in the room. | | | | | Registered Member

true. i heard about a lot of people who used it and stopped smoking, but as I said, it is expensive.
What it does, is that it increases your chances to quit smoking by 2.6 .. it means that if you try to quit smoking without it, if your chances to succeed are 30%, champix will make them become 78%.
This means that it requires the person who uses it to have the will of quitting, otherwise he wouldn't be able to do it la ma3 champix wala ma3 bay bayyo | | | | | Registered Member

To bad one day,
When you get out of bed your going to need that oxygen tank, When your in the cold you lungs will just go real crisp and youl find it even harder to breath, Even with that tube down your noise,
And i don't think a cloudy pub will be the real bother anymore, I hope the pub has an oxygen tank section so you can sit in and enjoy breathing while everyone else is enjoying getting pissed and dancing,, And having sex, your going to hate sex. It will be nothing but memories, Your lungs wont be able to absorb much oxygen depleting your blood of it,Your going to need some luck getting an erection, Thats injunction with it causing your blood vessels to constrict restricting blood flow to your tool. Walking down the street wont be a problem anymore, Youl get to role down in a wheel chair cause of your COPD. Thats the life style you will be living, Thats if you don't get struck down by the 50 or so cancers it can cause,
Its a scary future smoking,
Soon you will be swapping these,
For this, | | | | | | |
