Thumbs up Do you smoke??? - 8th August 2007

Hello all,

I am just trying to know how many members smoke and how many others don't!!!

Note that i am a smoker from 3 years ago, and i smoke per average one packet per day.

Do you smoke, and if yes, how many cigarettes per day, and finally are you trying to quit smoking???

Thanks and regards.

I have never smoked!

zouxi, I advice you to quit smoking because it causes healthy problems like cancer (and many others bad things) and the result is Death.

Smoking also makes you look older with a dry face full of wrinkles. You'll be a bad singer because smoking changes your voice in a negative way... Smoking also has bad effects on fertility and sexual performance on males and females.

I think the smoker must want to quit or it will never happen! In my opinion, the most effective way is just stopping... I know it's very difficult, some friends of mine suffered a lot during this quitting period but it seems to be working so far!

Good luck!!

Haha! I once stopped smoking for 3 months, just like that, I took the decision, and stopped directly. But then later I chose to come back.

I think people are heavily judged for smoking, and concerning health risks, those are for non-lebanese people, as Lebanese mostly die from stress. ;)

you'r right CPL, i believe that here we exagerete in stressing on smoking health risks. Ya3ni one cup of whiskey is more damaging than one pack of cigarettes.

Oh oh yes, when I stopped, everytime i felt like having a cigarette, i had a chocolate.

1st week: you always feel for biological need to smoke it.
2nd week: it's only psychological.
End of 1st month: you completely forget it, but sometimes u put your hand on your pocket as a reflex trying to take a cigarette hehe.
End of 3rd month: you will just miss it like hell, and remember the good old days when a cigarette made you put your head back and forgetttttttttttt.
