Before you start your diet, you have to write down on a paper for a week what are you eating everyday and how many portions you are eating on each meal. For example I ate today on lunch : 2 medium boiled potatos (with about 40 ml of olive oil on top of it), 2 medium boiled eggs, 1 tomato, 1 rghif bread , 1 pepsi (375 ml). Then I ate 4-5 spoons of halawé, and some butter (20 ml) with 3 spoons of mrabba.


To have immediat and sure results for your diet, you only have to cut from these portions you eat everyday on your meals.
From the example above, you can eat everything but with less portions (quantity). Don't cut too much from the portions.

For example: you eat 1 medium and 1 small potato with 30 ml of olive oil). Instead of eating a big tomato fruit, eat a smaller one that the usual size you eat. Instead of rghif khebez, eat 2/3 of it. Instead of drinking all the pepsi can (375 ml) drink 300 ml. Instead of eating 4-5 spoons of halawé, eat 3 or 4 and so on.

It doesn't make a big difference from you usual meals (which is very important because you wont feel you are dieting) but at the end of each week, you will see yourself with about a 1 kg less. It is not recommanded to loose more than that in a week. Otherwise you will regain your weight easily because you will get frustrated by the much of the cuttings you are doing in your meals. So what I am giving you is the best way to loose and MAINTAIN your new weight without feeling that you are on a diet and nobody will notice that you are dieting but they'll notice that you are looking sexier.

Eat whatever you used to eat but with less portions and for sure you will loose weight. Ma tza3ebré bill portions when you write them on a paper in the first week (the cuttings will be based on these portions)

Training is also vervy very helpful. You will loose more weight when training and dieting.

I never did a diet! But having a dad doctor with one of his specialisation nutrition, i can assure you that it's not benefical to invent a diet! Every body shouyld have an appropriate diet!
Eating the same thing during days, or doing all kind of diets to loose 5 kilos per week or more are exagerated!

The better way to loose weight without any risk of taking them sooner, is to loose 2 kilos per week... Practice sports like jogging, running... Some abdominos... Eat less than before and try to eat only 3 meals per day, eliminate the la2maché between meals... Try not to eat osas fiya alé!

By the way, my mum did a diet giving by an american nutrionist, she had the right to eat everything everything even lebanese sweets but the quantity is limited! She was able to eat 1500 calories per day but this calories should be determinitated by 2 lipids, 2 fruits, 2 milk, ..... w hek osas! W masalan she had a big daftar where it is written addé bedda men kell chaghlé to calculate it as an unity!

Chabeb i want to find a way to gain some Kilos!
in this war well i lost some kilos!
well if u tell me eat eat & eat it doesn't work with me i eat like a pig! i eat every hour + tle2mouch wl 2a3de 3al pc w 2 or 3 movies per day.
it doesn't work with me!!!
i'm tall 190cm & my goal is 89 kilos as my coach told me so i'm still like 6 or 7 kilos behind
what to do??

Me too, in contrast with caramel,during the war i stopped eating and started worrying alot which affected my weight.
Now in your case,jerkin berkin,I think you should do weight lifting inrder to gain muscle mass .Try taking the proteins for weight gaining and excercise,you will gain weight fast.

As Beirutiye said, Jerkin you need to work out, taking proteines and vitamines. though ask someone who's already used them before taking them.

There is this apparently weird, but effectively practical diet i heard about, tried and found helpful:
Whenever you feel hungry, try to eat any kind of bread. It seems that the pate (3ajine) is low in calorie, easy to burn and it kills hunger.
(not talking about man2ousher or Pizza though). U can also drink a big cup of water when you feel hungry, at a time when you are not supposed to eat (ie between meals). This also kills hunger.

bass as my coach always tells me don't take proteine.

caramel, i know wat u mean about halawa evvv i ate shi 10 tubes during the war(only shahine of course,my moms from douma), i started with the small ones thn as the war got worse i started with the really big tubes!!! but i ate it with bread i cant eat it with a spoon ,, anyway wat i find best for losing weight is just stay simple, burn more calories thn u take in, and to make tht easier dont take in too much calories, especially empty ones e.g halawa, tht u eat and stay hungry

Why I gained weight? simple.. used to go out jogging everyday for an hour. When war happened, I stopped jogging, I slept for 4 to 5 hours each night, I ate sooo muchhhh (including halawa from box with spoon ) because we spent everyday playing cards and watching the news so we had to "nla2mich". without mentioning enno we had 5 birthdays so 5 cakes (nonetheless I didn't get a cake on my birthday :( )
And now I'm paying the price Bass yalla dieting is fun

As for exercicing, I'm back to jogging... and I also do Yoga and some dancing when I feel like it. It helps I guess

I was on a diet to gain weight.
I gained 8 kgs. I focused on eating the food that is high-concentrated in sugar. For example: bread, pasta, rice, hommos, gâteaux, biscuits, chocolate, cocktails (home-made : strawberry, banana, milk, with 4-5 spoons of sugar).

Don't forget to lift weight. Because lifting weight won't let you loose weight. When lifting weights to gain volume, don't do more than 6-8 reps each set. And rest for 2 min after each set. Because as much as you avoid working your heart , as much as you won't loose weight.

This is why those who want to loose weight when training, they work their heart as much as possible. So these people when lifting weights, they do usually 12-15 reps in each set and they don't rest between sets. Totally different from those who want to gain weight. Anyway, this is how I gain weight (with no fat) and muscles.

p.-s. : protein supplement won't give any weight-gain at all. Only Creatine which will help you lift more weight, therefore your muscle will get bigger. (when your muscle get bigger it means more water in it, so more water = more weight)
