I also have type I diabetes ( and I had exactly the same symptoms in addition to blurry vision) , but it's not as severe it used to be (at one point, my blood sugar used to be higher than the glucometer's maximum range

) as I follow the instructions carefully and, most importantly, I do LOTS of exercise. Consequently, I don't have to take insulin shots anymore; pills are more than enough.

and there are about 6000 type1 diabetes in Lebanon if not more!
also there are lots of new technologies and treatments other than needles, but due to international politics and organizational profits they keep the needles in the market instead of introducing the other new medicines which are better and causes less pain! |
very true. in my department, one of the groups were able to develop a device by which the patient would test his blood sugar by simply swiping his finger on this device. no pocking no nothing. Nevertheless, more time is needed to move on to this level of technology.

and even if you have diabetes you can live a normal life much like people who don't have it! you eat chocolate, ice cream, and absolutely anything, but you have to take a shot of insulin while eating! |
again, this is right. For God's sake, I, sometimes, have ice cream for breakfast.

but you have to keep in mind that you have to walk (and not drive) to the store to grab the ice cream

. exercising of any sort is extremely important and beneficial.
