A decent proposal!

Dear all...:)
well in the coming few months or weeks in a matter of facts i intend to propose to my fiance(temporarily my gf now:P)... and i was thinking of the old traditional way to do it.. a resto, wine, music and one knee on the ground!
But i guess a special event like this needs more creative and romantic ideas and i have a couple of those in my mind!
what do u think.. how would u handle it? and do you have some ideas that could be useful?!

lets see do u know that ballon shop on korietym? well there is a place there that will write whetever u want using ballons and stick it up on the road like a banner, DO IT !! Or at least think about it

if you want to stretch your budget, you can rent a billboard somewhere with the proposal written on it. Fake a flat tire at night under it (make sure it's well lit) and wait for her to see it by herself. (don't go pointing your finger up there)

Write it on a billboard somewhere where there will be lots of people and other couples will pass, the girls will think that message '' will you marry me?'' will be for them from the bf. Haha that will be hillarious or

seriously, you can put a key in a big gift and in the big box gift, theyre will another one, one another box and till she finds a mini-box. It should be a key in the smallest box. And you will have to give her the box of the key and in that box, there will be a photo of an adress. You will have to go to the address with her and there, there will be the ''will you marry me?'' sign in the jewellery shope where she will chose her ring ;)

ahhh this what i hear about everyday! i work in a jewlery store and 90% of sales are engagment rings hah.

here's a very cool one i just heard about:

so this guy was going with his gf to a show (rent) she's a huge fan and decided to propose at dinner after that. well someone at my work told him to contact the theater and see if they do anything special. well they did. they gave him backstage passes and step up a table with roses and wine in the back they also contacted newspapers. So the headlines said "Proposing at Rent" and the plan was for her to meet them since she loved them then he would pop the question and the ring hehe.

so i dont know if ur gf has any favorite singers or shows and maybe u could do that?


or another is if u want to go big. u can have a huge party at some restaurant have it be with some singer invite family/friends and then pop the question infront of everyone and her. :)


this is if u have ur own place (i saw this on grey's anatomy :D) put a trail of rose petals from the door to the dinner table and have a bottle of champaigne and pop the question. (thats very cliche i know but i thought id throw it out there)

or you could just make the whole day special by starting the day with sending her flowers to her house or work. and then go out to dinner and see if you could coordinate something with the waiter/resto owner maybe they can have a cake with firework candles ready and some flowers.

Halla2 i was thinking of smthng.. we're both fans of Georges Khabbaz and he's a personal friend.. i could talk to him and in the end of his show he can invite me to the stage.. i go up there and propose, then a spotlight will aim at her.. etc..:)

Zodiac, you're making it sound as if she's not expecting it or that she doesn't already know! :D

Go for the balloon idea, and make sure you choose the colours of her political party :D. FBM is simply a genius.
