I'll give it a french twist...

Ralentis ton rythme !

Default on belief - 24th June 2005

On Belief

If you believe, you will never know. If you really want to know, don´t believe. That does not mean to disbelieve, because disbelief is another kind of belief. Don´t believe, but experiment. Go into it yourself, and if you can see, if you can feel, only then believe. But then it is no more belief; then it is trust. That is the difference between trust and belief: trust comes out of experience; belief is just a prejudice without any experience to support it.

Don´t believe because scriptures say so, and don´t believe because respectable people say so, because they may be saying it only because by saying it they become respectable. Don´t believe because priests say so, because priests are just doing a kind of business. They have to say so; they are salesmen. They are selling some invisible commodity, which you cannot see but you have to believe.

Experiment, go into the existential experience of it all. Become a lab - your own lab. And unless it has become your own understanding, don´t believe. Unless it has become your own understanding, don´t believe, and then only can you come to trust. Truth believed is a lie. Truth experienced is a totally different phenomenon. This is the approach of a scientific mind.

Ce qui est important

« Je me sens triste !

a Lover Knows only Humility.. Has.. no choice
===================================

A lover knows only humility
He has no choice
He steals into your alley at night
He has no choice
He longs to kiss every lock of your hair, don’t fret
He has no choice
In his frenzied love for you he longs to break the chains of his imprisonment
He has no choice

The lover asked his beloved
Do you love yourself more than you love me??
The loved replied…..
I have died to myself and i live for you,
I've disappeared from myself and my attributes
I am present only for you
I have forgotten all my learning’s
But from knowing you I have become a scholar
I have lost all my strength
But from your power, I am able
if I love myself, I love you
if I love you, I love myself

I am your lover come to my side
I will open the gate to your love
Come settle with me, let us be neighbours to the stars
You have been hiding so long
Endlessly drifting in the sea of my love

Even so you have been always been connected to me
Concealed, reveled in the known in the un-manifest
I am life itself, you have been a prisoner of a little pond
I am an ocean and its turbulent flood
Come merge with me, leave this world of ignorance, be with me
I will open the gate to your love

I desire you more than food or drink
My body, my senses, my mind, hunger for your taste
I can sense your presence in my heart
Although you belong to all the world I wait with silent passion
for one gesture, one glance from you

..

she has.. no choice

Let this become your key - next time when anger comes, just watch it. Don´t say, “I am angry.” Say, “Anger is there and I am watching it.” And see the difference! The difference is vast. Suddenly you are out of the grip of anger. If you can say, “I am just a watcher, I am not anger,” you are out of the grip. When sadness comes, just sit by the side and look at it and say, “I am the watcher, I am not sadness,” and see the difference. Immediately you have cut the very root of sadness. It is no more nourished. It will die of starvation. We feed these emotions by being identified with them.

If religiousness can be reduced to one single thing, it is non-identification.

osho

Although, my respect for Osho is tantamous.. his work.. efforts. for humanity. Intervention is necessary here. Not on a superficial level. No. Nosch tuihing. No such thing. But on a deeper level. Forthose willing, courageous enough to know the truth of mind and matter and to remover the seeds of suffering at the deepest root.

Addiction, bosession, hate, anger, lust, anxiety, EGO.. yes EGO.. ALL lead to suffering. But, they are not the root. They are mere symptoms of the root cause to all this noncsense. and that is Ignorance. Ignorance vis-à=vis thr true nature of our existence, the essense of our body and mind phenomena.

What Osho advises, is vcery useful. Easpecially to an audience that is not familira with the dynamics of mind and matter. However, it falls short if we are to take tit to an experientlial level. I does indede flall short!

How so?!! one may wonder... First, one must understand on an intellectial level the dynamics of body and mind. This is for a general audiesnce. Hence we say, intelecutal level and not the EXPERIENTIAL level. Which MUST beciome our aim. Now, it is out of our hands, simply because we are not trained to experience the reality of all phenomeanam. So, we use the intellectual understand, the surface knowledge to help motivate us into developing thiese competencies.

Suffering is rooted in ignorance. What Osho suffgests, helps us deal with suffereing and its symptoms on a superficial level. Where in fact, the problem is rooted far deeper. The sub conscious mind. This is where the roots must be targetted. this is wehere we must eradicate the seeds. The conscious mind is but a mere plant, the Subconsious, is the tree and all its surrounding earth. To break suffering at its base

we MUST break the WALL seperating the sub from the consicous. We must work from the sub and OBSEREVE (Osho likes to say Watch) observe all elements. As Osho suggests, one must not identify with them Simply be a Mirror, anon-disrcriminating mirror that reflects ALL that is passing and builds not attachment nor harete for any.

What does that mean. Equanimity. No attachment. No Hate. Being Equanimous at the subconsicous level, truly equanimous.. you not only ERADICATE all suffering doors in the present.. But you also eradicate all suffering seeeds that you have planted in the Past.

This is a possiblilty for everyone. This is univerasal. As such it is for everyone. It is close to the Home of Truth. Otherwise, it ancant be universal. Everyone has the seed of Ultimate bliss, love, ecompassion..

everyone. The Potential is there. trust in that. Moticavation will come. Even from suffering motivation will ocome. Suffering is a blessing in disguise if appraoched from this angle.

Not my smiles, notr my tears shall i ever want to replace. Ah, ya Giberan, ah ya Gibran...

i will stop here. this is an extremely sensitive topic and must be handlesed with great responsiblity. IF you want to learn more. I'll see what i can do.. rgiht now.. i must give in to my body.. its calling me oto sleep.. though my heart is paining me so

maybe i should liseten and practice wat tis isay..

maybe then i can come out of this ignorance.. this hurt//

Ipray for all of you..

Remember, overcome anger by faith.. overcome cruelty by Compassion

and

Overcome hate by LOVE...

this is an eternal truth.. trsust in that
