There's a name for bullying people using the internet and mobile phones: cyber bullying. And a new report says it's now a serious problem in the UK, where a third of teenagers aged 12 -15 have been victims.
Cyber bullies send nasty or threatening texts and emails. Sometimes they impersonate their victim, by sending messages, pretending to be them. Sometimes bullies post nasty images of their victims on the internet.
Cyber bullying is especially stressful because nowhere feels safe, even your own bedroom. And the bully is anonymous, it could be anyone. |
